Apparu en 1989, Infiniti est un constructeur japonais cr\u00e9\u00e9 par Nissan, qui souhaitait par ce biais cibler une client\u00e8le plus ais\u00e9e en qu\u00eate de performances et de raffinement, alors que Nissan se concentrait sur un march\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9raliste. Si le succ\u00e8s est rapidement au rendez-vous sur les continents am\u00e9ricain et asiatique, Infiniti n\u2019exporte pas ses v\u00e9hicules en Europe jusqu\u2019en 2008. Dix ans plus tard, les chiffres r\u00e9v\u00e8lent \u00e0 quel point il est difficile de bousculer un march\u00e9 tr\u00e8s attach\u00e9 \u00e0 ses rep\u00e8res : Infiniti n\u2019a immatricul\u00e9 que 286 v\u00e9hicules en 2017 sur sol helv\u00e9tique ! D\u2019un autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, cet \u00e9tat de fait leur procure encore plus d\u2019exclusivit\u00e9, surtout en ce qui concerne le coup\u00e9 Q60, qui n\u2019est logiquement pas, vu son segment, le mod\u00e8le le plus pl\u00e9biscit\u00e9 de la marque. Nous avons pu essayer ce coup\u00e9 quatre places dans sa version la plus d\u00e9lur\u00e9e, \u00e0 savoir la Q60S dot\u00e9e d\u2019un moteur V6 3.0L bi-turbo d\u00e9veloppant 405 ch.<\/p>\n

\nDe l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9gance prime sur la sportivit\u00e9, gr\u00e2ce aux nombreuses parties chrom\u00e9es comme la calandre et les contours des vitres, plus prononc\u00e9s au niveau de la custode arri\u00e8re. Les jantes anthracites de 19 pouces se marient parfaitement avec la couleur \u00ab\u00a0Sunstone Red\u00a0\u00bb de notre voiture d\u2019essai dont il me tarde de prendre le volant. Comme \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, la pr\u00e9sentation de l\u2019Infiniti Q60S est tr\u00e8s soign\u00e9e dans l\u2019habitacle, o\u00f9 l\u2019on retrouve notamment un cuir lisse d\u2019excellente facture et deux grands \u00e9crans tactiles entour\u00e9s de placages en carbone sur la console centrale. Si le raffinement est de mise, le design reste plus consensuel que ce que pourraient laisser penser ses lignes ext\u00e9rieures.<\/p>\n

L\u2019une des grandes nouveaut\u00e9s mise en avant par Infiniti est sans doute l\u2019apparition en premi\u00e8re mondiale de la direction \u00ab\u00a0Direct Adaptative Steering\u00a0\u00bb. La r\u00e9volution demeure par le fait qu\u2019il n\u2019y a aucun lien m\u00e9canique entre le volant et les roues (sauf en cas de d\u00e9faillance du syst\u00e8me), ce qui n\u2019offrirait que des avantages si l\u2019on en croit les arguments de la marque. Si cette technologie est impos\u00e9e sur les versions Sport (tant sur le 2.0t que le 3.0t), la version Premium 2.0t n\u2019en est pas dot\u00e9e de s\u00e9rie.<\/p>\n
A l\u2019utilisation, c\u2019est sans surprise que cette direction sans lien m\u00e9canique entre le volant et les roues manque de feeling, mais tr\u00e8s franchement, ce n\u2019est pas vraiment pire que certaines directions \u00e0 assistance \u00e9lectro-hydraulique. J\u2019y reviendrai.<\/p>\n

Le relief du V6 bi-turbo est plut\u00f4t feutr\u00e9 mais devient plus d\u00e9monstratif en mode Sport, avant d\u2019avouer un timbre plus rageur jouant dans les aigus lorsque le compte-tours s\u2019affole, rappelant immanquablement la Nissan GT-R<\/a>. Il faut dire qu\u2019en plus d\u2019offrir une bande son addictive, le moteur montre un r\u00e9el entrain \u00e0 approcher la zone rouge, tout en demeurant tr\u00e8s souple aux r\u00e9gimes inf\u00e9rieurs. Le couple maximum de 475 Nm est en effet disponible de 1’600 \u00e0 5\u2019200 trs\/min, alors que le rupteur intervient \u00e0 6\u2019600 trs\/min.
