\nBelle\u00a0! On dirait un mot invent\u00e9 pour elle\u2026 tr\u00eave de po\u00e9sie\u00a0! Pour vous, Sport-Auto.ch a eu l\u2019immense privil\u00e8ge de se retrouver sur les routes proven\u00e7ales au volant d\u2019une l\u00e9gende en devenir\u00a0: la nouvelle Alpine A110\u00a0!<\/p>\n

Mais pourquoi l\u2019avoir appel\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0A110\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0? Lorsque l\u2019on demande \u00e0 un large public \u00e0 quoi \u00ab\u00a0Alpine\u00a0\u00bb fait penser, il r\u00e9pond en majorit\u00e9\u00a0: la Berlinette, la mythique A110. C\u2019est donc avec cette voiture que la marque fran\u00e7aise a choisi de faire son grand retour et, au terme de cinq ans de gestation, a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 en mars 2017 au Salon de Gen\u00e8ve sa nouvelle Alpine A110, directement issue du concept-car Alpine Vision. Et le moins que l\u2019on puisse dire, c\u2019est que la marque d\u00e9cha\u00eene toujours les passions, malgr\u00e9 22 ans d\u2019absence : les 1’955 exemplaires de cette Premi\u00e8re Edition, en r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 l\u2019ann\u00e9e de la cr\u00e9ation de la marque (1955) par Jean R\u00e9d\u00e9l\u00e9, ont tous trouv\u00e9 preneur en moins d\u2019une semaine\u00a0!<\/p>\n

Puisqu\u2019ils partaient d\u2019une page blanche, les designers d\u2019Alpine se sont demand\u00e9 \u00e0 quoi ressemblerait l\u2019A110 aujourd\u2019hui si elle n\u2019avait jamais cess\u00e9 d\u2019\u00eatre produite. A premi\u00e8re vue, si la version 2017 a des dimensions certes plus g\u00e9n\u00e9reuses que son a\u00efeule, la recette reste la m\u00eame : coup\u00e9 biplace, poids et dimensions contenus (hauteur : 1,25 m) et surtout les lignes : phares ronds, capot nervur\u00e9, \u00ab virgule \u00bb sur les flancs, double bossage sur le toit, dessin de la lunette arri\u00e8re et du coffre. On reconna\u00eet aussit\u00f4t la descendante de la Berlinette : pour moi, le coup de c\u0153ur est imm\u00e9diat !<\/p>\n

D\u00e8s que je m\u2019installe dans le baquet, la magie Alpine op\u00e8re ! Ma voiture est la no 5 de 50 de cette Premi\u00e8re Edition de pr\u00e9-s\u00e9rie, dans la teinte Bleu Alpine (deux autres couleurs \u00e0 choix : Blanc Solaire (nacr\u00e9) et Noir Profond). Les clins d\u2019\u0153il \u00e0 l\u2019A110 d\u2019origine ne manquent pas, avec tout le confort moderne mais en allant \u00e0 l\u2019essentiel. Au premier regard, l\u2019habitacle m\u2019est apparu sportif et cosy \u00e0 la fois. Les baquets, d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s avec Sabelt, l\u00e9gers et confortables, ne p\u00e8sent que 13,1 kg chacun et sont garnis de mat\u00e9riaux d\u2019excellente facture (cuir pleine fleur, microfibre Dinamica). Encore mieux : comme promis, ils s\u2019adaptent \u00e0 tous les gabarits et offrent un maintien lat\u00e9ral impressionnant. On trouve encore sur la planche de bord et la console centrale des inserts en carbone.<\/p>\n

Visuellement, cet int\u00e9rieur est tr\u00e8s abouti et parfaitement r\u00e9ussi. Pour les bagages, l\u2019Alpine A110 poss\u00e8de deux coffres\u00a0\u00e0 l\u2019avant et \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re, de respectivement 100 et 96 litres. Enfin, n\u2019oublions pas d\u2019\u00e9voquer la sonorisation, du \u00ab\u00a0made in France\u00a0\u00bb sur-mesure con\u00e7u par Focal. Simple, efficace, l\u00e9ger, le syst\u00e8me ne comprend que quatre haut-parleurs tout en offrant un son de grande qualit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

\nJ\u2019appuie sur Start\u00a0: moteur\u00a0! Quel son\u00a0! Rauque, rond, beau, bien pr\u00e9sent sans \u00eatre envahissant. Je l\u00e2che d\u00e9licatement le frein et c\u2019est parti pour sillonner sur quelques d\u00e9partementales qui nous m\u00e8neront au circuit du Grand-Sambuc. D\u00e8s les premiers virages, je me sens \u00e0 l\u2019aise. L\u2019auto fait \u00ab\u00a0tout le boulot\u00a0\u00bb toute seule, ou presque. M\u00eame sans \u00eatre une pilote, je prends d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part beaucoup de plaisir \u00e0 son volant. Agile, l\u00e9g\u00e8re, r\u00e9active\u2026 et facile \u00e0 conduire, l\u2019Alpine A110 s\u2019adapte aux capacit\u00e9s et aux envies du moment du conducteur. Le passage de l\u2019un \u00e0 l\u2019autre des trois modes de conduite (Normal \u2013 Sport \u2013 Race) modifie clairement les param\u00e8tres, tels que la cartographie du moteur et l\u2019intervention des diff\u00e9rents syst\u00e8mes de contr\u00f4le et d\u2019assistance.<\/p>\n

\nSa r\u00e9partition des masses id\u00e9ale (44% \u00e0 l\u2019avant et 56% \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re) et son point de gravit\u00e9 pile entre les deux si\u00e8ges font de l\u2019A110 une voiture tr\u00e8s bien \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e. \u00ab\u00a0Avec les fesses\u00a0\u00bb, je peux ais\u00e9ment sentir les trains pivoter\u00a0! La suspension est ferme, tout en restant confortable\u00a0: gr\u00e2ce au syst\u00e8me \u00e0 double triangulation, les roues restent invariablement coll\u00e9es \u00e0 la route : plus le virage est serr\u00e9, plus les pneus sont press\u00e9s au sol, avec un gain de grip \u00e9vident. La direction me fait \u00e9galement bonne impression, \u00e0 la fois douce et pr\u00e9cise. Sur la piste du Grand-Sambuc, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Thierry Annequin, ing\u00e9nieur responsable ch\u00e2ssis, je me rends encore mieux compte des performances de l\u2019A110 au niveau de sa liaison au sol. Puis, \u00e0 son volant, j\u2019ai une auto \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e, agile, r\u00e9active mais jamais brutale. A noter que le mode Race tol\u00e8re un peu plus de d\u00e9rapage sans toutefois d\u00e9-s\u00e9curiser totalement la voiture, et que l\u2019ESP est enti\u00e8rement d\u00e9connectable ind\u00e9pendamment du mode de conduite.<\/p>\n

Le moteur 4 cylindres 1.8L turbo est coupl\u00e9 \u00e0 une bo\u00eete robotis\u00e9e Getrag EDC 7 rapports \u00e0 double embrayage humide. La motricit\u00e9 est bonne, malgr\u00e9 un diff\u00e9rentiel libre suppl\u00e9\u00e9 au besoin par le frein de la roue int\u00e9rieure. Le couple maximum de 320 Nm est disponible de 2’000 trs\/min \u00e0 5’000 trs\/min, ce qui conf\u00e8re \u00e0 la fois souplesse et reprises toniques aux r\u00e9gimes interm\u00e9diaires. La puissance maximale de 252 ch est atteinte \u00e0 6\u2019000 trs\/min. Regret pour les puristes : la bo\u00eete manuelle n\u2019est pas au programme, car la structure de l\u2019A110 ne permettrait pas son installation.<\/p>\n

Chaque choix est \u00e0 comprendre dans les d\u00e9fis majeurs que les ing\u00e9nieurs d\u2019Alpine ont eu \u00e0 relever\u00a0: de sa conception \u00e0 contre-courant des sportives habituelles, en gardant l\u2019esprit historique de la marque tout en r\u00e9pondant aux exigences et aux normes pointues actuelles. Par exemple, il fallait d\u00e9velopper un groupe qui puisse entrer dans un emplacement aux dimensions r\u00e9duites, notamment par le rapprochement des longerons impos\u00e9 par la suspension \u00e0 double-triangulation, m\u2019explique David Twohig, ing\u00e9nieur en chef.<\/p>\n
