Le Prologue du championnat du monde d\u2019endurance FIA-WEC, qui s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 sur le circuit de Monza du 31 mars au 1er avril, n\u2019a pas seulement \u00e9t\u00e9 le th\u00e9\u00e2tre de la pr\u00e9sentation de la nouvelle Porsche 919 Hybrid de course. Les ing\u00e9nieurs du constructeur de Stuttgart y ont \u00e9galement d\u00e9voil\u00e9 la nouvelle Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid dans une livr\u00e9e proche de celle des 919 et 911 RSR de comp\u00e9tition. Cela afin de souligner que de nombreux enseignements recueillis en course sont directement transf\u00e9r\u00e9s dans les mod\u00e8les de s\u00e9rie.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le transfert des enseignements tir\u00e9s de la comp\u00e9tition ne date pas d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui chez Porsche. La suralimentation qui a fait ses d\u00e9buts dans la Porsche 917\/10 de 1972 a par exemple donn\u00e9 lieu \u00e0 la 911 Turbo de s\u00e9rie en 1974 et le dispositif de contr\u00f4le de la pression des pneus de la 924 GTP engag\u00e9e aux 24 Heures du Mans de 1980 a \u00e9t\u00e9 introduit dans la 928 S4 en 1988. Plus pr\u00e8s de nous, la coque en carbone de la 911 GT1 qui a remport\u00e9 les 24 Heures du Mans en 1998 a \u00e9t\u00e9 adopt\u00e9e par la Carrera GT pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e au Salon de Gen\u00e8ve en 2003 et la technologie hybride, avec un moteur \u00e9lectrique install\u00e9 sur l\u2019essieu avant de la 911 GT3 Hybrid de course de 2010, est arriv\u00e9e en s\u00e9rie trois ans plus tard avec la 918 Spyder. Et ce ne sont l\u00e0 que quatre exemples parmi tant d\u2019autres.<\/p>\n

Aujourd\u2019hui, cette technologie hybride pouss\u00e9e \u00e0 son paroxysme dans la 919 Hybrid qui a notamment permis au Biennois Neel Jani de s\u2019imposer aux 24 Heures du Mans et de remporter le titre mondial en 2016, a \u00e9t\u00e9 transf\u00e9r\u00e9e dans la nouvelle Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid de 680 ch. Cette derni\u00e8re, d\u00e9voil\u00e9e en notre pr\u00e9sence le 31 mars dernier \u00e0 Monza dans une nouvelle livr\u00e9e, marque un nouveau jalon dans l\u2019histoire de Porsche. C\u2019est en effet la premi\u00e8re fois que le mod\u00e8le le plus puissant d\u2019une des gammes du constructeur de Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen (718, 911, Cayenne, Macan et Panamera) est propuls\u00e9 par une motorisation hybride!<\/p>\n

Le moteur V8 de 4 litres, issu de celui de la Panamera Turbo, est associ\u00e9 ici \u00e0 un moteur \u00e9lectrique particuli\u00e8rement performant. Comme nous l\u2019avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 relev\u00e9 un peu plus haut, il en r\u00e9sulte une puissance totale de 680 ch et un d\u00e9bit de couple pour le moins souverain. D\u00e8s le r\u00e9gime du ralenti, 850 Nm de couple sont en effet d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 la disposition du conducteur. D\u2019o\u00f9 une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de 0 \u00e0 100 km\/h en 3,4 secondes et une vitesse maximale de 310 km\/h. Le dispositif \u00abboost\u00bb de la Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid \u00e0 transmission int\u00e9grale est directement d\u00e9riv\u00e9 de celui de la Porsche 918 Spyder au bord de laquelle nous avons pu effectuer plusieurs tours du circuit de Monza aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Neel Jani.<\/p>\n

\u00ab La 918 Spyder est un formidable laboratoire technologique\u00bb<\/em>, pr\u00e9cise Neel Jani. \u00ab On sort des boxes dans un silence incroyable en roulant en mode 100% \u00e9lectrique avant de mettre en marche le moteur \u00e0 combustion dans un bruit d\u2019enfer.<\/em> J\u2019ai pu ainsi d\u00e9passer les 300 km\/h \u00e0 chaque tour avec une facilit\u00e9 d\u00e9concertante. La 918 est exceptionnelle. Elle<\/em> acc\u00e9l\u00e8re de 0 \u00e0 100 km\/h en 2,6 secondes et de 0 \u00e0 200 km\/h en 7,3 secondes pour une vitesse de pointe de 345km\/h. \u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00ab J\u2019ai particuli\u00e8rement appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 le fait de pouvoir choisir les cinq modes de fonctionnement en activant le commutateur pr\u00e9vu \u00e0 cet effet au volant. Le mode Race Hybrid permet au moteur \u00e0 combustion d\u2019\u00eatre constamment boost\u00e9 par les deux moteurs \u00e9lectriques exploit\u00e9s au maximum de leur possibilit\u00e9. Quant au mode Hot Lap, activ\u00e9 en appuyant sur le bouton rouge situ\u00e9 \u00e0 droite sur le volant, exploite \u00e0 fond toutes les r\u00e9serves de la 918 Spyder, par exemple pendant un tour de qualification. On est alors encore plus plaqu\u00e9 dans le si\u00e8ge baquet. C\u2019est vraiment impressionnant. Enfin, le mode E-Power permet de parcourir plus de 30 km en mode enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectrique. \u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n

La nouvelle Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid peut quant \u00e0 elle parcourir jusqu\u2019\u00e0 50km en mode tout \u00e9lectrique. Du coup, sa consommation moyenne selon le nouveau cycle de conduite europ\u00e9en s\u2019\u00e9tablit autour de 2,9 l\/100km. Avec ce nouveau mod\u00e8le, Porsche rappelle, si besoin est, qu\u2019il voue une grande importance \u00e0 la mobilit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique.
