Ici, pas de projecteurs, pas de musique d’ambiance, juste des voitures align\u00e9es et pr\u00e9cieusement gard\u00e9es. Une Porsche <\/span>908\/02 Spyder<\/span>, conduite par le suisse Jo Siffert<\/a> en 1969, c\u00f4toie l’un des premiers prototype du Porsche Cayenne, habill\u00e9 sous forme de Mercedes ML.<\/span> D’autres prototypes de Porsche 911 rallong\u00e9es, con\u00e7ues pour accueillir des places arri\u00e8res plus spacieuses, attirent \u00e9galement mon regard, incr\u00e9dule face \u00e0 une telle diversit\u00e9 de mod\u00e8les rassembl\u00e9s sous le m\u00eame toit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dans cet endroit comme fig\u00e9 dans le temps, les voitures sont bichonn\u00e9es et entretenues r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement. Ceci est notamment facilit\u00e9 par l’immense catalogue de pi\u00e8ces Porsche Classic (plus de 80’000 pi\u00e8ces) disponible.
Un c\u00e9l\u00e8bre “clac” d’ouverture de porte sp\u00e9cifique aux Porsche 911 r\u00e9sonne dans l’entrep\u00f4t. On me montre le tachygraphe : 35 km au compteur ! Je me trouve aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de l’unique exemplaire de la Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3 4×4 Cabriolet, d\u00e9voil\u00e9e au Salon de Francfort en 1981.<\/span><\/p>\n

Durant ma visite en sens anti-horaire <\/span>\u2014<\/span> clin d’\u0153il \u00e0 l’emplacement \u00e0 gauche des cl\u00e9s sp\u00e9cifiques aux mod\u00e8les Porsche <\/span>\u2014<\/span> j’ai l’occasion d’admirer une immense palette de couleurs Porsche, repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es notamment par une belle brochette de GT3 et autres GT2 RS en couleurs PTS (Paint To Sample<\/em>). Par ailleurs, Porsche a depuis toujours propos\u00e9 un grand choix de cuirs : en t\u00e9moigne notamment l’iconique int\u00e9rieur jaune (Speedgelb<\/em>) de la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre 911 Turbo S Leichtbau. On m’explique que certaines voitures <\/span>\u2014<\/span> en majorit\u00e9 des mod\u00e8les r\u00e9cents <\/span>\u2014<\/span> sont des ex voitures de presse que les journalistes du monde entier ont essay\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n

L’objectif de la collection Porsche Heritage est de rassembler, pour chaque mod\u00e8le, toutes les \u00e9tapes de conception jusqu’\u00e0 la version finale. Un bel exemple : la Porsche 918 Spyder. Depuis son prototype aux pare-chocs arri\u00e8res emprunt\u00e9s \u00e0 une Porsche 911, au mod\u00e8le ayant sign\u00e9 le record au N\u00fcrb\u00fcrgring (6 min 57), on constate que cette cr\u00e9ation n’est pas une simple voiture. J’apprends d’ailleurs que la base technique de son moteur V8 a inspir\u00e9 le d\u00e9veloppement de la derni\u00e8re Porsche ayant couru au Mans en 2025<\/a> : la 963. <\/span><\/p>\n

Une sorte d’armoire g\u00e9ante attire mon regard au coin de l’entrep\u00f4t. L\u00e0 sont entrepos\u00e9es des voitures originales, laiss\u00e9es dans leur \u00e9tat de l’\u00e9poque, telle une galerie d’art dont les \u0153uvres sont fig\u00e9es dans le temps. On remarque par exemple l’un des premiers prototypes de Carrera GT, ou encore une Porsche 908, avec les craquelures sur sa carrosserie laiss\u00e9es telles quelles. Pourquoi cette derni\u00e8re ne sort jamais ? Une des raisons est que Porsche Heritage craint que des copies de pi\u00e8ces soient effectu\u00e9es, et que ce mod\u00e8le donne malencontreusement naissance \u00e0 une multitude de r\u00e9pliques non originales… <\/span><\/p>\n

Avec tous ces joyaux, est-ce que Porsche Heritage a d\u00e9j\u00e0 song\u00e9 \u00e0 organiser une ou plusieurs ventes priv\u00e9es, tel ce que Mercedes a entrepris en 2022 avec l’un des prototypes de la 300 SLR Uhlenhaut (1955), adjug\u00e9e aux ench\u00e8res pour la somme historique de 135 millions d’euros ? “Ce n’est pas dans nos plans. Nous tenons \u00e0 garder possession de nos voitures. De plus, le pr\u00e9 choix des acqu\u00e9reurs cr\u00e9erait potentiellement des jaloux parmi nos plus grands clients.<\/em>” Une r\u00e9ponse qui s’aligne sur le fait qu’aucune Porsche priv\u00e9e n’est entrepos\u00e9e ici. Cette approche est donc oppos\u00e9e par rapport notamment aux Mus\u00e9es Ferrari, qui s\u00e9lectionnent et accueillent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des voitures de leurs clients dans leurs expositions. <\/span><\/p>\n

Pour la suite de la visite, nous nous d\u00e9pla\u00e7ons \u00e0 quelques kilom\u00e8tres \u00e0 l’est, cette fois-ci dans le Mus\u00e9e Porsche officiel. L’\u00e9tablissement est ferm\u00e9 les lundis, et nous avons donc droit \u00e0 un va-et-vient des voitures (pr\u00e9cautionneusement d\u00e9plac\u00e9es \u00e0 la main), qui s’alignent pour l’exposition phare de cette ann\u00e9e : \u201cRaceborn \u2013 75 Years of Porsche Motorsport”. Chaque voiture est soign\u00e9e au peigne fin avant de rentrer dans l’ar\u00e8ne, qui accueille plusieurs centaines de milliers de visiteurs par ann\u00e9e. <\/span><\/p>\n
