Si le march\u00e9 des voiture familiales semble toujours domin\u00e9 par les SUV, plusieurs mod\u00e8les de berlines et breaks ont r\u00e9cemment fait leur apparition, contribuant ainsi \u00e0 maintenir une certaine diversit\u00e9 au sein du segment. Misant sur un certain raffinement et une aptitude \u00e0 voyager, la Volkswagen ID.7, 100 % \u00e9lectrique, est disponible aussi bien en break qu\u2019en berline. Nous avons pris le volant de cette derni\u00e8re dans sa version Pro S de 286 ch.<\/p>\n

Avec ses 4,96 m de longueur, celle que l\u2019on pourrait qualifier de vaisseau amiral de la marque mise sur la modernit\u00e9 et l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9gance. Ses lignes fluides et son hayon particuli\u00e8rement inclin\u00e9 participent \u00e0 une a\u00e9rodynamique soign\u00e9e, mais l\u2019absence d\u2019essuie-glace arri\u00e8re s\u2019est av\u00e9r\u00e9e g\u00eanante dans certaines conditions o\u00f9 ni la vitesse ni le chauffage de la vitre ne permettent d\u2019avoir la vue d\u00e9gag\u00e9e. A l\u2019avant et \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re, le logo VW \u00e9clair\u00e9 est entour\u00e9 d\u2019un bandeau lumineux qui effectue une chor\u00e9graphie au verrouillage et d\u00e9verrouillage du v\u00e9hicule. Force est d\u2019admettre que c\u2019est assez classe, tout du moins tant que l\u2019on n\u2019a pas besoin de faire appel \u00e0 son carrossier\u2026 Les jantes de 20 pouces optionnelles (CHF 530.-) conviennent id\u00e9alement \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble. La monte pneumatique est g\u00e9n\u00e9reuse avec des pneus d’une largeur de 235 mm \u00e0 l\u2019avant et 255 mm \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re ; de quoi annoncer les ambitions dynamiques de cette version Pro S qui est, comme son nom l\u2019indique, une propulsion.<\/p>\n

L\u2019habitacle da VW ID.7 Pro S est spacieux et raffin\u00e9, avec des finitions et \u00e9quipements dignes du segment sup\u00e9rieur. Les si\u00e8ges, labelis\u00e9s ergoActive, sont confortables et offrent de nombreux r\u00e9glages de position (pack Int\u00e9rieur Plus \u00e0 CHF 2’160.-). Rev\u00eatus de cuir et d’alcantara, ils sont chauffants, ventil\u00e9s et massants. Si les buses d\u2019a\u00e9rations motoris\u00e9es semblent superflues, on peut en revanche saluer la pr\u00e9sence de nombreux espaces de rangements. L\u2019arri\u00e8re n\u2019est pas en reste, avec des finitions identiques et beaucoup d\u2019espace pour les jambes. Quatre ou cinq adultes pourront donc voyager confortablement \u00e0 bord de l\u2019ID.7. Seul b\u00e9mol, le toit panoramique, dont l\u2019opacit\u00e9 se r\u00e8gle \u00e9lectroniquement, n\u2019apporte pas autant de lumi\u00e8re qu\u2019un toit vitr\u00e9 traditionnel \u00e9quip\u00e9 d\u2019un rideau occultant.<\/p>\n

Bien qu\u2019affichant un volume de 532 litres gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa profondeur, le coffre s\u2019est av\u00e9r\u00e9 peu pratique lorsqu\u2019il a fallu empiler des bo\u00eetes de tri pour aller \u00e0 la d\u00e9chetterie\u2026 Mais heureusement, la VW ID.7 existe aussi en break (Tourer) avec un coffre de 605 litres. Contrairement \u00e0 certaines voitures \u00e9lectriques, l\u2019ID.7 n\u2019est pas pourvue d\u2019un coffre \u00e0 l\u2019avant, tout l\u2019espace \u00e9tant occup\u00e9 par les composants \u00e9lectriques (chargeur embarqu\u00e9, convertisseur de tension, gestion de puissance) ainsi que les r\u00e9servoirs de fluides. En outre, notre mod\u00e8le d\u2019essai est \u00e9quip\u00e9 d\u2019une pompe \u00e0 chaleur (CHF 1’140.-) pour chauffer l\u2019habitacle, ce qui permet de r\u00e9duire la perte d\u2019autonomie de la batterie en hiver.<\/p>\n

Plusieurs modes de conduite sont disponibles, dont un mode Individuel permettant d\u2019intervenir finement sur la duret\u00e9 des suspensions. La position la plus molle, similaire au mode Confort, conf\u00e8re \u00e0 l\u2019ID.7 un excellent confort m\u00eame sur chauss\u00e9e d\u00e9grad\u00e9e, alors que la position la plus dure am\u00e9liore la connexion avec la route et r\u00e9duit le roulis. Int\u00e9ressant, mais de loin pas suffisant pour qualifier cette ID.7 Pro S de sportive. La direction, m\u00eame raffermie en mode Sport, n\u2019est pas tr\u00e8s communicative, et le toucher de frein est perfectible avec une p\u00e9dale molle dont la consistance varie\u2026 alors qu\u2019il faut tout de m\u00eame arr\u00eater plus de 2’200 kg ! En somme, parcourir un col avec cette ID.7 Pro S n\u2019aurait rien d\u2019excitant s\u2019il s\u2019agissait d\u2019une traction\u2026 Mais le fait qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse d\u2019une propulsion rehausse le bilan en mati\u00e8re d\u2019agr\u00e9ment de conduite.<\/p>\n

A ce sujet, la VW ID.7 est d\u2019ailleurs d\u00e9clin\u00e9e en version GTX \u00e0 traction int\u00e9grale d\u00e9veloppant 340 ch et parcourant le 0 \u00e0 100 km\/h en 5,4 secondes.<\/p>\n

Avec sa grande batterie et son a\u00e9rodynamique soign\u00e9e, l\u2019ID.7 b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u2019une grande autonomie annonc\u00e9e \u00e0 709 km (WLTP). Lors d\u2019un test mis en place par la marque en septembre 2025, une VW ID.7 Pro S a m\u00eame parcouru 794 km\u00a0! Elle n\u2019a consomm\u00e9 que 10,3 kWh\/100 km \u00e0 la vitesse moyenne de 51 km\/h.<\/p>\n

De mon c\u00f4t\u00e9, j\u2019ai mesur\u00e9 16,5 kWh\/100 km de consommation en appliquant une conduite souple et anticipative, et 19 kWh\/100 km des conditions moins favorables (montagne, autoroute, d\u00e9part le matin sans pr\u00e9chauffage, etc.), ce qui correspond \u00e0 une autonomie d\u2019environ 400 km avec 10 % de batterie restante. Des valeurs qui restent tout \u00e0 fait correctes au vu du gabarit de la voiture et de la m\u00e9t\u00e9o fra\u00eeche qui a accompagn\u00e9 cet essai.<\/p>\n
