Notre premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape va nous mener jusqu\u2019au circuit du Mans afin d\u2019assister \u00e0 la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre course du Mans Classic, laquelle se d\u00e9roulera par une m\u00e9t\u00e9o tr\u00e8s variable. Le d\u00e9part se fait donc en mode \u00e9lectrique. Apr\u00e8s avoir pass\u00e9 la fronti\u00e8re \u00e0 Vallorbe, nous traversons le Jura fran\u00e7ais jusqu\u2019\u00e0 notre premi\u00e8re pause, au march\u00e9 de Poligny. Ce n\u2019est qu\u2019\u00e0 Montrond que la Seat a vid\u00e9 toute la batterie, \u00e0 123 km de notre domicile. Malgr\u00e9 la pr\u00e9sence de quatre personnes et des bagages, la consommation est rest\u00e9e correcte avec 16,6 kWh\/100 km sur cette portion vallon\u00e9e comprenant 38 km d\u2019autoroute.<\/p>\n

Le soleil est de retour pour notre deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9tape qui nous m\u00e8ne du Mans jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Roscoff (370 km). Sur un tron\u00e7on de 194 km d\u2019autoroute \u00e0 une vitesse moyenne de 100 km\/h, la consommation est de 7.1 l\/100 km ; une valeur sans doute l\u00e9g\u00e8rement sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle d\u2019un break essence affichant les m\u00eames performances. Mais l\u2019hybride rechargeable ne va pas tarder \u00e0 se rattraper, en ne consommant que 5,9 l\/100 km sur les 90 km de l\u2019\u00e9tape suivante reliant Roscoff \u00e0 Saint-Guirec, alors que la vitesse moyenne n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 que de 36 km\/h ! Dans ce contexte o\u00f9 une transition se fait r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement entre propulsion \u00e9lectrique et thermique, on pourrait craindre que des saccades surviennent, mais ce n\u2019est pas le cas. Il faut toutefois \u00eatre attentif \u00e0 cela avant l\u2019achat car certains mod\u00e8les \u00e0 double motorisation peuvent faire ressentir des soubresauts (cela est donc \u00e9galement valable pour les \u00ab full hybrides \u00bb).<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s deux nuits pass\u00e9es \u00e0 Saint-Guirec sur la c\u00f4te de granit rose, nous allons faire escales \u00e0 Ploubazlanec puis \u00e0 Saint-Malo en longeant la c\u00f4te entre Sables d\u2019Or les Pins et Fort la Latte. L\u00e0 encore, et bien que nous cumulions les arr\u00eats et n\u2019adoptions pas toujours une conduite \u00e9cologique, la consommation s\u2019av\u00e8re plus que raisonnable pour une voiture de 204 ch charg\u00e9e \u00e0 bloc : 5,7 l\/100 km \u00e0 48 km\/h de moyenne ! M\u00eame un diesel ne ferait pas forc\u00e9ment mieux, avec le d\u00e9savantage d\u2019\u00e9mettre bien plus de CO2 en ville et de ne pas pouvoir \u00eatre recharg\u00e9 pour rouler sans \u00e9missions sur plus de 100 km. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s avoir profit\u00e9 de la f\u00eate et des feux d\u2019artifice du 14 juillet depuis les remparts de Saint-Malo, nous reprenons la route en direction du Mont-Saint-Michel. Arriv\u00e9 dans notre h\u00f4tel, je m’aper\u00e7ois que j\u2019ai oubli\u00e9 le chargeur de mon appareil photo \u00e0 Saint-Malo\u2026 Je suis d\u00e8s lors contraint d\u2019y retourner, mais cette fois seul et par l\u2019itin\u00e9raire le plus rapide. Le GPS embarqu\u00e9 s\u2019av\u00e8re pr\u00e9cis et fournit de bonnes informations sur les routes barr\u00e9es ou \u00e0 trafic dense\u2026 ce qui s\u2019av\u00e8re tr\u00e8s utile pour rallier le centre de Saint-Malo en plein \u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n

C\u2019est sur cet aller-retour que la Seat Leon ST e-Hybrid<\/a> aura \u00e9t\u00e9 la plus sobre avec une consommation de 5,4 l\/100 km malgr\u00e9 une pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rance de semi-autoroute \u00e0 110 km\/h. Notre derni\u00e8re escale sur la c\u00f4te atlantique se situe \u00e0 Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer, non loin des plages du d\u00e9barquement. C\u2019est lors de cette \u00e9tape que nous avons l\u2019occasion d\u2019effectuer l\u2019unique recharge de la batterie durant le voyage, ayant trouv\u00e9 une borne de recharge par hasard sur le parking du mus\u00e9e du Dead Man\u2019s Corner. Cette fois, la distance parcourue en mode \u00e9lectrique sera inf\u00e9rieure avec 104 km pour une consommation de 19,4 kWh\/100 km.<\/p>\n

Evidemment, choisir une voiture hybride rechargeable sans avoir l\u2019intention de la recharger n\u2019aurait pas de sens. Dans ce cas, mieux vaut opter pour un mod\u00e8le \u00ab full hybride \u00bb dot\u00e9 d\u2019une batterie beaucoup plus petite. Cette exp\u00e9rience d\u00e9montre n\u00e9anmoins que partir en vacances avec une voiture hybride plug-in ne se soldera pas par une consommation d\u00e9mesur\u00e9e, bien au contraire !<\/p>\n
