Cet avant \u00e9voque fortement celui d\u2019une Lamborghini Hurac\u00e1n. On y retrouve une grille d\u2019a\u00e9ration pouvant s\u2019ouvrir \u00e0 la demande du conducteur. Le reste de la voiture s\u2019allonge sur une poupe plus fine, laissant place \u00e0 un fin bandeau de phare arri\u00e8re. La teinte Solar Yellow (triple couche nacr\u00e9) de notre v\u00e9hicule d\u2019essai permet de se rendre compte de son gros volume et les jupes lat\u00e9rales creus\u00e9es accentuent ce galbe. Les d\u00e9tails sympathiques sont les ouvertures dans les pare-chocs avant et arri\u00e8re qui conduisent directement sur les pneus. Le design g\u00e9n\u00e9ral est r\u00e9ussi mais la Lotus Emeya R a du mal \u00e0 cacher ses origines chinoises, en t\u00e9moigne le retour de carrosserie sur le pilier C qui pour moi est en trop.<\/p>\n L\u2019int\u00e9rieur est \u00e9pur\u00e9, avec un \u00e9cran central de 15,1 pouces. Ce dernier est tactile et commande toutes les fonctions de la voiture. La temp\u00e9rature de climatisation reste ajustable \u00e0 l\u2019aide de boutons et c’est appr\u00e9ciable. L\u2019habillage int\u00e9rieur et le ciel de toit sont recouverts d\u2019Alcantara (CHF 2’800.-). La pr\u00e9sentation et les finitions g\u00e9n\u00e9rales sont bonnes. Le volant en Alcantara (CHF 520.-) a une forme peu commune, une jante \u00e9paisse et un sublime insert en carbone habillant magnifiquement les commandes.<\/p>\n mode Circuit. Ce mode vous lib\u00e8re soit disant enti\u00e8rement de toute aide \u00e9lectronique, mais, m\u00eame pied au plancher, avec 918 ch, les roues ne patinent en aucun cas lors de d\u00e9parts arr\u00eat\u00e9s. En revanche, l\u2019Emeya R ne se fait pas prier pour vous catapulter au-del\u00e0 des limites l\u00e9gales de vitesse. Les acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations sont fulgurantes et son poids se fait oublier. Cependant, ce mode n’est pas accompagn\u00e9 d\u2019un quelconque bruit artificiel dans l\u2019habitacle.<\/p>\n Le toucher de route est bon pour un v\u00e9hicule de ce gabarit et la prise de roulis est ma\u00eetris\u00e9e, ce qui est assez bluffant. L\u2019Emeya R a une bonne tenue de route mais les sensations \u00e0 son volant sont quelques peu filtr\u00e9es, en t\u00e9moignent les freins carbone-c\u00e9ramique qui pourraient encaisser le double de son poids mais semblent trop assist\u00e9s. Malgr\u00e9 son plus gros moteur sur le train arri\u00e8re et des conditions d\u2019essai quelques peu d\u00e9grad\u00e9es, je n\u2019ai pas tellement ressenti un comportement typ\u00e9 propulsion, ce qui est dommage. Je ne retrouve pas ici les sensations que j\u2019ai pu avoir avec une Lotus Exige<\/a>,mais est-ce vraiment sa vocation?<\/p>\n Avec sa batterie de 102 kWh, l\u2019Emeya R pourrait exceller dans sa cat\u00e9gorie. Sur des routes secondaires, son poids ainsi que la topographie du trajet peuvent devenir un inconv\u00e9nient. J\u2019ai relev\u00e9 une consommation de 26,4 kWh\/100 km sur mes 1200 km d\u2019essai.
