La Ford Mustang fait partie de ces voitures, tr\u00e8s peu nombreuses, qui peuvent se targuer d\u2019\u00eatre devenues des ic\u00f4nes automobiles au fil des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations. On retrouve une face avant qui parait plus agressive, notamment gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une partie en noir \u00e9largissant le bas de la calandre centrale, qui para\u00eet donc plus pro\u00e9minente. Le design a volontairement \u00e9t\u00e9 modifi\u00e9 pour para\u00eetre plus athl\u00e9tique. On se consolera cependant avec le syst\u00e8me audio Bang & Olufsen efficace, livr\u00e9 d\u2019origine. La finition de l\u2019habitacle est semblable \u00e0 la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente de Mustang<\/a>, l\u2019ajout d\u2019inserts typ\u00e9s carbone et le cuir avec surpiq\u00fbres donnant une sensation de qualit\u00e9 globalement bonne, cependant toujours ternie par quelques parties en plastique noir granuleux, notamment sur la partie sup\u00e9rieure du tableau de bord. Les \u00e9tagements sont courts et les r\u00e9trogradages avec les palettes r\u00e9agissent diff\u00e9remment en fonction des modes de conduite s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s, les passages ne s\u2019effectuant pas au-del\u00e0 d\u2019une certaine plage de tours-minutes sur le rapport inf\u00e9rieur. De plus, certains \u00e0-coups vers l\u2019avant se font sentir lors de r\u00e9trogradages sans freiner. Au niveau des modalit\u00e9s de conduite, on peut choisir entre Normal, Sport, Glissant, Drag, Circuit et Individuel. Ce dernier permet de configurer \u00e0 sa guise notamment les diff\u00e9rentes duret\u00e9 des suspensions. Quoi qu\u2019il en soit, la Mustang Convertible se d\u00e9voile totalement d\u00e8s que le toit s\u2019ouvre, ce qui me permet de rouler cheveux au vent en compagnie de la m\u00e9lodie du V8 5.0 D\u2019autres si\u00e8ges Recaro sont disponibles en option. Dot\u00e9e de la bo\u00eete automatique, la Dark Horse permet de passer de 0 \u00e0 100 km\/h en moins de 4.4 secondes, mais nous choisissons ici la bo\u00eete manuelle \u00e0 six rapports (Tremec), qui est un r\u00e9gal au niveau du guidage. Sur les routes sinueuses, l\u2019Am\u00e9ricaine est surprenante par son agilit\u00e9 et son comportement coh\u00e9rent. La Dark Horse re\u00e7oit un diff\u00e9rentiel Torsen, comme la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente Mustang Mach1<\/a> de 2022, qui l\u2019aide \u00e0 s\u2019extraire efficacement des virolets. De plus, des pneus Pirelli P Zero PZ4 lui conf\u00e8rent une tenue de route neutre et bien ma\u00eetris\u00e9e. Au niveau du freinage, rien \u00e0 redire, les freins Brembo \u00e0 six pistons sont efficaces. Tout cela donne une impression s\u00e9curisante au volant, comme dans la Mustang mill\u00e9sime 2018<\/a>, alli\u00e9e aux plaisirs du talon-pointe que cette bo\u00eete manuelle autorise. Malgr\u00e9 son \u00e9tagement long, on prend toujours du plaisir \u00e0 passer de virages en virages gr\u00e2ce au couple du gros moteur. Les cols de l\u2019arri\u00e8re-pays ni\u00e7ois \u2013 les m\u00eames que nous avions emprunt\u00e9s lors de notre essai de la Focus ST en 2019<\/a> \u2013 d\u00e9filent et r\u00e9v\u00e8lent
