D\u00e9voil\u00e9e aujourd\u2019hui au public et aux m\u00e9dias \u00e0 Miami Beach pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer le 70e anniversaire de l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de Ferrari sur le march\u00e9 am\u00e9ricain, la Ferrari 12Cilindri marque le nouveau chapitre de la marque dans ses mod\u00e8les avec moteur V12 central avant. Et, surprise, ce n\u2019est pas une mais deux d\u00e9clinaisons que le constructeur a d\u00e9voil\u00e9es: le coup\u00e9 et le spyder.<\/p>\n
Int\u00e9grant un V12 atmosph\u00e9rique de 830 cv, la Ferrari 12Cilindri propose un nouveau design s\u2019inspirant des l\u00e9gendaires Grand Tourers des ann\u00e9es 1950 et 1960, avec des lignes simples mais harmonieuses. On retrouve notamment un air de famille avec la Ferrari 365 GTB\/4 Daytona d\u00e9voil\u00e9e en 1968, notamment avec les phares avant int\u00e9gr\u00e9s dans une seule bande enveloppante.<\/p>\n

Le moteur de la Ferrari 12Cilindri est le dernier d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019embl\u00e9matique V12 de Maranello, dans cette version d\u00e9veloppant 830 ch (comme la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente 812 Competizione) pour un r\u00e9gime maximal de 9500 tr\/min. La courbe de puissance garantit que 80 % du couple total soit d\u00e9j\u00e0 disponible \u00e0 seulement 2500 tr\/min, ce qui se traduit par une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration instantan\u00e9e pour une r\u00e9ponse maximale de l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur et une \u00ab sensation de puissance sans fin jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la ligne rouge \u00bb.<\/p>\n
Pour permettre au V12 de tourner aussi haut, les ing\u00e9nieurs ont travaill\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9duire le poids et l\u2019inertie des composants du moteur, en adoptant des bielles en titane, qui garantissent un gain de 40 % en masse rotative par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019acier avec la m\u00eame r\u00e9sistance m\u00e9canique. Un alliage d\u2019aluminium diff\u00e9rent a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour les pistons, ce qui les rend plus l\u00e9gers que sur les applications pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes. L\u2019adoption d\u2019un vilebrequin r\u00e9\u00e9quilibr\u00e9 plus l\u00e9ger de 3 % a permis d\u2019encore plus r\u00e9duire le poids. Pour la toute premi\u00e8re fois sur un moteur atmosph\u00e9rique, une strat\u00e9gie logicielle a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e pour permettre de modifier le couple maximum disponible en fonction du rapport s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9, se traduisant par une sensation de reprises fluides et progressives \u00e0 mesure que le rapport de transmission augmente. La Ferrari 12Cilindri arbore la bo\u00eete DCT \u00e0 8 rapports (Dual Clutch Transmission), qui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 inaugur\u00e9e sur la Ferrari SF90 Stradale.
