Durant les trajets effectu\u00e9s en co-voiturage, j\u2019ai constat\u00e9 que certaines personnes n’utilisent pas correctement la climatisation de leur voiture, ayant pour cons\u00e9quence la d\u00e9sactivation du mode automatique par le syst\u00e8me. Avec la multiplication des \u00e9crans tactiles qui nous contraignent \u00e0 d\u00e9tourner les yeux de la route, savoir r\u00e9gler sa climatisation est aussi, quelque part, un gage de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Avec les d\u00e9parts en vacances et les fortes chaleurs que nous connaissons actuellement, faisons donc le point sur ce dispositif qui occupe une place centrale dans le confort des occupants.<\/p>\n

En mode automatique (abr\u00e9g\u00e9 Auto), la climatisation fonctionne en r\u00e9gulant \u00e0 la fois la temp\u00e9rature et le d\u00e9bit d\u2019air pour atteindre la temp\u00e9rature choisie. Mais contrairement \u00e0 certaines id\u00e9es re\u00e7ues, le syst\u00e8me ne produit pas de l\u2019air \u00e0 la temp\u00e9rature choisie ; s\u2019il fait 28 degr\u00e9s dans l\u2019habitacle, et que la temp\u00e9rature choisie est de 23 degr\u00e9s, la temp\u00e9rature de l\u2019air sortant des buses sera bien inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 23 degr\u00e9s. La r\u00e9gulation automatique du d\u00e9bit va faire baisser la temp\u00e9rature int\u00e9rieure jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la valeur choisie. Lorsque l\u2019on choisit une valeur largement inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 la temp\u00e9rature actuelle, de l\u2019air froid sera distribu\u00e9 avec un d\u00e9bit \u00e9lev\u00e9. Et si l\u2019on impose une temp\u00e9rature encore plus basse, c\u2019est le d\u00e9bit qui augmentera, et non la temp\u00e9rature d\u2019air en sortie qui baissera (car \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0, la climatisation produit souvent d\u00e9j\u00e0 l\u2019air le plus froid possible). Le d\u00e9bit diminuera ensuite \u00e0 mesure que la temp\u00e9rature de l\u2019habitacle se rapproche de la temp\u00e9rature choisie par l\u2019utilisateur.<\/p>\n

Une tendance observ\u00e9e est de vouloir imposer une temp\u00e9rature trop basse, engendrant un d\u00e9bit d\u2019air \u00e9lev\u00e9 et bruyant. Certaines personnes ont alors le mauvais r\u00e9flexe de r\u00e9duire le d\u00e9bit d\u2019air, ce qui a pour cons\u00e9quence de d\u00e9sactiver le mode Auto. Il est donc inutile de r\u00e9gler la temp\u00e9rature sur 19 degr\u00e9s s\u2019il en fait 25 \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur et que vous avez d\u00e9sactiv\u00e9 la fonction AC ; la temp\u00e9rature int\u00e9rieure ne pourra pas \u00eatre inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 25 degr\u00e9s. <\/strong>Il sera par contre toujours possible d\u2019avoir de l\u2019air plus chaud gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la chaleur du moteur, c\u2019est pour cela que rouler en hiver avec l\u2019air conditionn\u00e9 engendre une consommation suppl\u00e9mentaire inutile. En revanche, lorsqu\u2019il est n\u00e9cessaire de d\u00e9sembuer les vitres, la climatisation s\u2019av\u00e8re plus efficace du fait qu\u2019elle produit un air beaucoup plus sec que l\u2019air provenant de l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, souvent tr\u00e8s humide en hiver.<\/p>\n A noter que lorsque l\u2019on \u00e9teint la fonction AC, certains v\u00e9hicules d\u00e9sactivent le mode Auto, alors que
