Cela fait de la Clubsport la Golf GTI la plus puissante jamais produite. Comme si cela ne suffisait pas, une fonction \u00ab power boost \u00bb permet encore d\u2019augmenter temporairement cette puissance de 10%. Un simple kick-down sur l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur lib\u00e8re ce surplus de puissance durant 10 secondes. La Clubsport d\u00e9passe alors les 290 chevaux et le 0 \u00e0 100 km\/h est abattu \u00e0 6.0 secondes. Sur notre voiture d\u2019essai cette puissance est transmise aux roues avant via une bo\u00eete de vitesse manuelle \u00e0 6 rapports mais il est \u00e9galement possible d\u2019opter pour la fameuse boite DSG \u00e0 6 rapports (CHF 2&#8217;250.-).<\/p>\n<p>Lors de la r\u00e9ception d\u2019une nouvelle voiture d\u2019essai, j\u2019appr\u00e9cie de pouvoir prendre mon temps pour soigner ma position de conduite tout en m\u2019impr\u00e9gnant de l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re qui s\u2019y d\u00e9gage. Comme souvent sur les voitures germaniques, l\u2019espace est bien suffisant pour y caser ma grande carcasse et les bons r\u00e9glages sont vite trouv\u00e9s. Si bien que je me retrouve tr\u00e8s vite l\u2019index en l\u2019air d\u00e9termin\u00e9 \u00e0 presser le bouton \u00ab\u00a0start\u00a0\u00bb. Mon index aura pourtant largement le temps de repartir \u00e0 la recherche de crottes de nez avant que je r\u00e9alise, penaud, que 40 ans plus tard cette GTI anniversaire n\u2019est toujours pas \u00e9quip\u00e9e de s\u00e9rie du syst\u00e8me de d\u00e9marrage sans cl\u00e9 (CHF 450.-). Une m\u00e9saventure bien vite oubli\u00e9e une fois la voiture en mouvement tant les premi\u00e8res impressions sembles positives. Cette sportive est \u00e9tonnamment \u00e0 l\u2019aise en milieu urbain, m\u00eame si on per\u00e7oit rapidement son d\u00e9sir d\u2019\u00e9mancipation. Et\u00a0le train arri\u00e8re suit avec une docilit\u00e9 tr\u00e8s difficile \u00e0 prendre en d\u00e9faut.
