Ext\u00e9rieurement, le CX-60 est \u00e0 la fois \u00e9l\u00e9gant et massif, ce qui lui conf\u00e8re une allure dynamique sous certains angles. Comme l\u2019avait mentionn\u00e9 mon coll\u00e8gue Laurent lors d\u2019un premier essai<\/a>, le design est exempt de fioritures, hormis en ce qui concerne les fausses sorties d’\u00e9chappement (l’\u00e9chappement \u00e9tant en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 dissimul\u00e9 derri\u00e8re le bouclier). Son long capot ainsi que ses porte-\u00e0-faux (court \u00e0 l\u2019avant et prononc\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re) me rappellent le profil de l\u2019Alfa Romeo Stelvio<\/a>. Les mat\u00e9riaux utilis\u00e9s sont de tr\u00e8s bonne qualit\u00e9 et conf\u00e8rent une atmosph\u00e8re raffin\u00e9e dans cet habitacle. Avec un tel niveau de finitions, le Mazda CX-60 n\u2019a pas \u00e0 rougir face \u00e0 la concurrence. Perturbant au d\u00e9part, son \u00e9tagement tr\u00e8s court (fond de 3\u00e8me vers 6’300 trs\/min \u00e0 90 km\/h) permet de tirer le meilleur parti du bloc atmosph\u00e9rique sur routes de montagne, en atteignant facilement les r\u00e9gimes sup\u00e9rieurs sur les trois premiers rapports. Les palettes permettent de reprendre la main sur les changements de rapport (les actionner en mode \u00e9lectrique enclenchera le moteur essence), mais il n\u2019y a pas de mode manuel permanent. Apr\u00e8s quelques secondes \u00e0 vitesse stabilis\u00e9e, la transmission se commute en D (automatique), ce qui n\u2019est pas ad\u00e9quat dans les descentes ou avant un d\u00e9passement.<\/p>\n Si le CX-60 ne d\u00e9m\u00e9rite pas dans les exercices de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 routi\u00e8re (autrement dit ayant pour but de conna\u00eetre les limites d\u2019adh\u00e9rence et le comportement du v\u00e9hicule au freinage), les tentatives de drift seront rapidement brid\u00e9es par l\u2019ESP non d\u00e9connectable… La d\u00e9sactivation de l\u2019antipatinage (bouton TCS) permet toutefois d\u2019emmener le CX-60 dans un sympathique survirage avant que l\u2019\u00e9lectronique n\u2019intervienne.
