mou-dur typique des utilitaires (cette 5\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration du Caddy n\u2019est pourtant pas munie de ressorts \u00e0 lamelles comme c\u2019\u00e9tait le cas \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque).<\/p>\n L\u2019ergonomie ainsi que les \u00e9crans sont similaires aux autres mod\u00e8les actuels VW, et toutes les aides \u00e0 la conduite modernes sont pr\u00e9sentes ici par Certains SUV, m\u00eame plus puissants, ne se jouent pas aussi facilement des courbes serr\u00e9es. M\u00eame constat en ce qui concerne la motricit\u00e9, qui bien qu\u2019imparfaite, s\u2019av\u00e8re par exemple meilleure que celle de la Suzuki Swift Sport<\/a> au couple pourtant bien inf\u00e9rieur (230 Nm, contre 320 Nm de 1’600 \u00e0 2’500 trs\/min pour le Caddy). De s\u00e9rie, les jantes de 17 pouces re\u00e7oivent des pneus Continental EcoContact 6 de 215 mm de largeur, mais il est possible d\u2019opter pour des jantes 18 pouces avec des pneus de 225 mm capacit\u00e9s de ce California en famille. Premier constat : le coffre \u00e9tant d\u00e9j\u00e0 bien occup\u00e9 par l\u2019\u00e9quipement pr\u00e9cit\u00e9, il ne reste que peu de place pour les bagages et la nourriture lorsque l’on voyage \u00e0 quatre. Si, faute de m\u00e9t\u00e9o suffisamment bonne pour planter la tente, les deux premi\u00e8res exp\u00e9riences se solderont par un retour \u00e0 la maison apr\u00e8s le repas, la troisi\u00e8me tentative sera la bonne. L\u2019armoire de rangement est fournie avec un ensemble de vaisselle et couverts pour quatre personnes, et il y a m\u00eame un bac en plastique d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 la vaisselle sale (CHF 17.-). En revanche, l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la bombonne de gaz est peu pratique ; il faut retirer la banquette pour y acc\u00e9der, ce qui impose de ne pas avoir le lit en place. On peut \u00e9galement regretter l\u2019absence d\u2019un petit r\u00e9frig\u00e9rateur d\u2019autant plus qu\u2019une meilleure distribution du volume du coffre aurait permis son implantation (il y a un volume non n\u00e9gligeable inutilis\u00e9 en-dessous et \u00e0 droite du compartiment contenant la table et les chaises).<\/p>\n A noter qu\u2019il existe aussi une version California Maxi longue de 4,85 m (+35 cm) qui devrait dispenser de faire cette manipulation. Le ciel \u00e9tant d\u00e9gag\u00e9, nous comptions observer les \u00e9toiles depuis notre couchage \u00e0 travers le toit panoramique (CHF 1’024.-). Que nenni ! Une fois \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur, la bu\u00e9e recouvre tr\u00e8s rapidement l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de la vitre ; il faut dire que nous nous trouvons \u00e0 1’800 m\u00e8tres d\u2019altitude et
