Contrairement \u00e0 ce que veulent nous laisser penser les politiques europ\u00e9ens qui pr\u00f4nent le tout \u00e9lectrique d\u2019ici 2035, les voitures \u00e9lectriques, c\u2019est comme les antibiotiques, \u00e7a ne devrait pas \u00eatre automatique. Comme pour toute \u00e9volution, et notamment dans le monde automobile, il y a toujours le pour et le contre. Ici, il n\u2019est pas question de prendre position mais, tant qu\u2019\u00e0 faire, si on doit \u00e9voluer vers l\u2019\u00e9lectrique, alors que ce soit comme Porsche nous le propose dans cette version GTS du Taycan. Elle a tout d\u2019une vraie sportive\u00a0! Sauf le son\u2026<\/p>\n

Avant m\u00eame de s\u2019installer dans l\u2019habitacle, il vaut la peine de s\u2019attarder sur la ligne ext\u00e9rieure du Taycan dans sa d\u00e9clinaison Sport Turismo (break). Des lignes tendues attirent le regard. Son profil allong\u00e9 (4,96 m de long pour 1,39 m de haut) lui conf\u00e8re un aspect sportif. Surfaces de cuir et autre Race-Tex (sorte d\u2019alcantara) recouvrent le tableau de bord, le volant, la console centrale, le pavillon et les porti\u00e8res. A l\u2019exception du bouton P (parking) et des feux de d\u00e9tresse, on ne trouve aucun bouton dans le Taycan (hormis sur son volant). M\u00eame le r\u00e9glage des buses de ventilation se fait de fa\u00e7on \u00e9lectronique ! Si si\u2026 la technologie pouss\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019extr\u00eame n\u2019a pas que de bons c\u00f4t\u00e9s et un compromis avec quelques boutons aurait am\u00e9lior\u00e9 l\u2019ergonomie de l\u2019ensemble.<\/p>\n

A l\u2019arri\u00e8re, on retrouve 2+1 places qui disposent \u00e9galement d\u2019un r\u00e9glage individuel de la climatisation. Le toit panoramique fixe, en option (CHF 1’960.-), baigne l\u2019habitacle de lumi\u00e8re. Enfin, le Taycan dispose de deux coffres : le premier, \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re, de 446 litres et le deuxi\u00e8me, \u00e0 l\u2019avant, de 84 litres.<\/p>\n

Sur la route, on ressent tr\u00e8s vite l\u2019appartenance \u00e0 la marque Porsche, reconnue en mati\u00e8re de plaisir de conduite. Le compromis confort\/sportivit\u00e9 est quasiment id\u00e9al. On n\u2019est certes pas \u00e0 bord du mod\u00e8le le plus sportif de la marque, mais le touch\u00e9 de route et le ressenti \u00e0 travers le volant sont tr\u00e8s bien calibr\u00e9s. La suspension pilot\u00e9e et les roues arri\u00e8re directrices font quasiment oublier le poids de l\u2019engin\u00a0; on se prend vite au jeu de la conduite dynamique tant le plaisir distill\u00e9 par le Taycan est pr\u00e9sent.<\/p>\n

Les acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations sont ph\u00e9nom\u00e9nales quelle que soit la vitesse \u00e0 laquelle vous sollicitez la p\u00e9dale de droite. Contrairement \u00e0 d\u2019autres voitures \u00e9lectriques, le Taycan dispose de deux vitesses sur son moteur arri\u00e8re, ce qui lui permet d\u2019optimiser sa r\u00e9activit\u00e9 \u00e0 chaque sollicitation de l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur. On s\u2019extrait de chaque virage \u00e0 une vitesse d\u00e9tonante, bien plus rapidement que la plupart des voitures thermiques. La motricit\u00e9 est excellente et il faut la brusquer pour lui soutirer une l\u00e9g\u00e8re d\u00e9rive ma\u00eetris\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Dans toutes les phases de conduite, la voiture vous procure du plaisir. Seul son gabarit imposant et son poids cons\u00e9quent rappellent la vocation initiale du Taycan. C\u2019est dans les phases de d\u00e9c\u00e9l\u00e9ration qu\u2019elle se trouve moins \u00e0 l\u2019aise. Le freinage est puissant mais le feeling \u00e0 la p\u00e9dale n\u2019est pas excellent. L\u2019attaque des freins n\u2019est pas suffisamment tranchante et il faut appuyer fort sur la p\u00e9dale pour charger le train avant afin de bien engager le virage. Sans cette phase, et comme la plupart des voitures, le Taycan aura une l\u00e9g\u00e8re tendance \u00e0 sous-virer.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s de gros freinages sur de longues descentes parcourues \u00e0 un rythme soutenu, la course de la p\u00e9dale de frein s\u2019allonge. Si on souhaite rouler de fa\u00e7on tr\u00e8s sportive, il serait sans doute judicieux de cocher l\u2019option freins c\u00e9ramiques (CHF 10’870.-).<\/p>\n

La voiture propose quatre diff\u00e9rents modes de conduite (Range, Normal, Sport et Sport Plus) qui peuvent \u00eatre personnalis\u00e9s \u00e0 travers le menu d\u00e9di\u00e9 (suspension, hauteur de caisse, sonorit\u00e9, etc). Une fois la configuration termin\u00e9e, on s\u00e9lectionne facilement les modes \u00e0 travers le bouton circulaire situ\u00e9 sur le volant. C\u2019est \u00e9galement sur le volant que se trouvent les boutons permettant d\u2019activer la commande vocale, de piloter l\u2019autoradio ou encore de personnaliser l\u2019affichage des compteurs.<\/p>\n

Dans la pratique, comptez plut\u00f4t sur 300-400 kilom\u00e8tres, ce qui est d\u00e9j\u00e0 appr\u00e9ciable pour un tel v\u00e9hicule. Il faut dire que les jantes 21 pouces optionnelles, les temp\u00e9ratures \u00e9lev\u00e9es et la conduite sportive pratiqu\u00e9e durant notre essai p\u00e9nalisent l\u2019autonomie. Concr\u00e8tement, la consommation lors de notre essai s\u2019est situ\u00e9e entre 27 et 34 kWh\/100 km pour une moyenne de 31 kWh\/100 km sur plus de 1\u2019000 km.<\/p>\n

A noter que l\u2019un des points forts du Taycan est sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 recharger tr\u00e8s rapidement au moyen de bornes appropri\u00e9es. Concr\u00e8tement, nous avons gagn\u00e9 67% d\u2019autonomie en 25 minutes de recharge (61 kWh) et ce, sous un soleil de plomb peu favorable \u00e0 la temp\u00e9rature des batteries. C\u00f4t\u00e9 tarif comme en termes de performances, le Taycan GTS se place entre la version 4S (571 chevaux pour CHF 130’300.-) et la d\u00e9clinaison Turbo (680 chevaux pour CHF 186’200.-). Le prix initial de notre version Sport Turismo GTS s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 quelque CHF 161’300.- auxquels il convient d\u2019ajouter quelques milliers de francs d\u2019options (CHF 191’840.- pour notre mod\u00e8le d\u2019essai). Le Taycan RWD<\/a> que nous avions \u00e9galement essay\u00e9 est quant \u00e0 lui disponible \u00e0 partir de CHF 104’000.-<\/p>\n

La concurrence dans ce segment de la voiture \u00e9lectrique haut de gamme n\u2019est pas nombreuse. Sa cousine germanique, l\u2019Audi RS e-tron GT<\/a> (598 ch) est disponible d\u00e8s CHF 151’650.-. La Tesla Model S Plaid fait encore mieux en performances et autonomie pour un tarif inf\u00e9rieur (d\u00e8s CHF 129’990.- pour 1020 chevaux et un 0-100 km\/h en 3.2 secondes) mais la client\u00e8le vis\u00e9e n\u2019est pas tout \u00e0 fait la m\u00eame.<\/p>\n

Le Taycan Sport Turismo GTS est sans doute l\u2019une des voitures les plus plaisantes \u00e0 conduire sur le march\u00e9 actuel des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques. Il d\u00e9montre que l\u2019\u00e9lectrique et le plaisir de conduite ne sont pas incompatibles, bien au contraire. Son look naturellement sportif d\u00e9gage une belle \u00e9nergie. L\u2019\u00e9quilibre de son ch\u00e2ssis est ph\u00e9nom\u00e9nal pour un v\u00e9hicule d\u2019une telle envergure et d\u2019une telle masse.<\/strong><\/p>\n
