Intitul\u00e9e \u00ab G\u00e9nie et \u00e9l\u00e9gance, l\u2019automobile par Giovanni Michelotti \u00bb, elle \u00e9rige les Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lancia, MG et autres Triumph expos\u00e9es au rang de v\u00e9ritables \u0153uvres d\u2019art. On ne s\u2019\u00e9tonne pas ainsi que de nombreux clients et constructeurs aient fait appel au talent de Giovanni Michelotti (1921-1980). Afin d\u2019illustrer ces collaborations, les deux commissaires de l\u2019exposition, Silvio Cibien, pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019Amicale Fiat Anciennes Suisse, et Edgardo Michelotti, fils de Giovanni Michelotti, ont r\u00e9uni de nombreux dessins, qui valent \u00e0 eux seuls le d\u00e9placement \u00e0 Aigle, ainsi que six voitures. Parmi elles, on rel\u00e8ve une Vignale MG TD Coup\u00e9 de 1953 qui ressemble \u00e0 s\u2019y m\u00e9prendre aux Ferrari carross\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque par Vignale. veut en faire son m\u00e9tier. singuli\u00e8rement avec la couleur cr\u00e8me de la BMW 1600, le vert vif de la DAF 44 et le jaune tournesol de l\u2019Alpine A110. Ces trois voitures ont \u00e9t\u00e9 produites en plusieurs milliers d\u2019exemplaires, \u00e0 7579 exemplaires tr\u00e8s exactement en ce qui concerne l\u2019A110. Pour la petite histoire, on rel\u00e8vera que l\u2019A110 se base essentiellement sur l\u2019A108 qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 enti\u00e8rement dessin\u00e9e par Giovanni Michelotti et qui se diff\u00e9rencie avant tout par une partie arri\u00e8re redessin\u00e9e. Cette petite diff\u00e9rence a-t-elle servi de pr\u00e9texte \u00e0 Jean R\u00e9d\u00e9l\u00e9, le fondateur d\u2019Alpine, pour ne pas payer \u00e0 Michelotti le dessin de l\u2019A110\u00a0?
