C’est en Croatie, dans la r\u00e9gion de Rovinj, que Ford a choisi de pr\u00e9senter le nouveau Mustang Mach-E GT, version sportive du SUV \u00e9lectrique am\u00e9ricain. Dot\u00e9 de deux moteurs \u00e9lectriques \u2013 un sur chaque essieu \u2013 ce SUV sportif affiche une puissance cons\u00e9quente de 487 ch et pas moins de 860 Nm de couple, soit 130 ch de plus et 280 Nm de couple suppl\u00e9mentaire par rapport \u00e0 la version de base en traction int\u00e9grale. Les routes de la r\u00e9gion de Rovinj ne manquent pas de vari\u00e9t\u00e9 pour la d\u00e9couverte de ce SUV \u00e9lectrique, avec une alternance de longues lignes droites en plaine et de portions d’avantage sinueuses lorsque le relief se fait plus tourment\u00e9. La Ford Mustang Mach-E reprend les codes esth\u00e9tiques de la Mustang<\/a>, comme le capot avant aux galbes musculeux ou les typiques feux arri\u00e8re \u00e0 trois barreaux. Par rapport \u00e0 la version de base, la face avant de la Mach-E GT est l\u00e9g\u00e8rement retravaill\u00e9e, de m\u00eame que les passages de roue. Ceux-ci accueillent des jantes de 20 pouces biton \u00e0 travers lesquelles ont apper\u00e7oit des disques de 385 mm de diam\u00e8tre pinc\u00e9s par des \u00e9triers Brembo \u00e0 quatre pistons. Les teintes “Grabber Blue” et “Cyber Orange” sont sp\u00e9cifiques \u00e0 la Mach-E GT.<\/p>\n

L’ouverture des portes se fait par un bouton situ\u00e9 au-dessus de la poign\u00e9e de porte. Ford propose plusieurs solutions innovantes pour verrouiller la voiture, comme un pav\u00e9 num\u00e9rique tactile int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au montant de la porte, afin de pouvoir d\u00e9verrouiller la voiture \u00e0 l’aide d’un code ou alors utiliser son t\u00e9l\u00e9phone mobile comme cl\u00e9 de d\u00e9verrouillage. L’\u00e9cran central de 15.5 pouces s’impose \u00e0 moi en entrant dans cette Mustang Mach-E GT. Ford a fait le choix de regrouper les commandes et toutes les fonctions de la voiture sur cet \u00e9cran. N’\u00e9tant pas favorable \u00e0 ce parti pris, je dois reconna\u00eetre que Ford a fait un tr\u00e8s bon travail d’ergonomie et d’int\u00e9gration des fonctions : je perds peu de temps \u00e0 trouver les fonctions, en quittant tr\u00e8s peu les yeux de la route.<\/p>\n

L’int\u00e9gration de ce grand \u00e9cran central pourrait \u00eatre am\u00e9lior\u00e9e\u00a0: on a l\u2019impression qu’il a \u00e9t\u00e9 rajout\u00e9 apr\u00e8s coup. De m\u00eame que la planche de bord, en plastique : m\u00eame si celle-ci est sobre, j’aurais appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 d’avoir un mat\u00e9riau un peu plus noble sous les yeux, pour une voiture de cette cat\u00e9gorie de prix. D’autant plus que la sonorisation est assur\u00e9e par un syst\u00e8me Bang & Ollufsen \u00e0 10 haut-parleurs de tr\u00e8s bonne facture. La console centrale re\u00e7oit deux portes gobelets, un double espace de charge sans fil de t\u00e9l\u00e9phone, le s\u00e9lecteur de vitesse, trois fonctions avec boutons d\u00e9di\u00e9s, un rangement et un large accoudoir. On dispose \u00e9galement de deux prises \u00e0 l’avant (USB et USB-C) de m\u00eame que deux autres pour les places arri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Les si\u00e8ges GT Performance sont plut\u00f4t confortables et offrent un bon maintien lat\u00e9ral. Suivant les r\u00e9glages de ceux-ci et du volant, une partie de l’\u00e9cran du tableau de bord pourrait \u00eatre cach\u00e9e par le volant.<\/p>\n

Pour ce faire, cette Ford Mustang Mach-E GT dispose de quatre modes de conduite, allant du plus confortable au plus sportif : Whisper (Docile), Active, Untamed (Fougueux) et Untamed Plus.<\/p>\n

Ces modes de conduites vont influencer la r\u00e9partition du couple entre l’avant et l’arri\u00e8re, la r\u00e9ponse de l’acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur, la direction et \u00e9videmment les suspensions. Equip\u00e9e du syst\u00e8me Magnaride 2, celles-ci sont toutefois trop fermes en mode Whisper et peuvent \u00eatre incommodantes sur des rev\u00eatements d\u00e9grad\u00e9s. Dans ce mode Whisper, la GT va se comporter comme un traditionnel SUV, en distribuant la majorit\u00e9 de la puissance sur l’avant et un comportement plut\u00f4t sous-vireur.<\/p>\n

Le mode Untamed va lib\u00e9rer la Mach-E GT et la rendre moins docile, d’o\u00f9 son nom. En effet, le moteur arri\u00e8re va \u00eatre privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 et va rendre la voiture plus joueuse et survireuse en virage. Ce survirage sera toutefois vite, et m\u00eame trop vite ma\u00eetris\u00e9 par l’ESP. J’aurais appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 que ce mode laisse un peu plus de libert\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Le mode Active se situe entre le mode Whisper et Untamed : la r\u00e9ponse de l’acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur est plus directe et le ch\u00e2ssis plus r\u00e9actif. A l’inverse du comportement dynamique, l’amortissement ne va que peut varier en fonction des modes.<\/p>\n
