D\u00e9voil\u00e9 au Salon de Gen\u00e8ve en mars 2019, le concept de la Peugeot 508 PSE<\/a> nous avait fait grande impression. A l\u2019\u00e9poque o\u00f9 les hybrides rechargeables \u00e9taient moins r\u00e9pandues, Peugeot pr\u00e9sentait une berline sportive dot\u00e9e de trois moteurs arborant un tout nouveau label : PSE, pour \u00ab Peugeot Sport Engineered \u00bb. Autrement dit, la nouvelle vision de Peugeot m\u00ealant hautes performances et respect de l\u2019environnement. puisqu\u2019il s\u2019agit de la version break) qui nous a \u00e9t\u00e9 attribu\u00e9e, j\u2019avoue \u00eatre surpris par l\u2019audace du constructeur de Sochaux. Ext\u00e9rieurement, tout me semble identique au concept pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve<\/a>. Seuls les r\u00e9troviseurs en carbone ne sont plus de la partie. Pour le reste, on peut affirmer que les designers se sont l\u00e2ch\u00e9s. Pour le meilleur comme pour le pire ; les ailettes entourant les passages de roue au niveau des bas de caisse ne sont pas du go\u00fbt de tous, mais cela a le m\u00e9rite d\u2019asseoir visuellement la 508 PSE et de la d\u00e9marquer de la concurrence. Tout comme cette peinture grise S\u00e9l\u00e9nium ou encore les touches de vert Kryptonite. A noter que deux autres teintes de carrosserie sont disponibles (noir Perla Nera et blanc nacr\u00e9). Les surpiq\u00fbres ainsi que les \u00e9crans arborent cette couleur particuli\u00e8re sans g\u00eane, et force est de constater que cela donne plut\u00f4t bien. Reste \u00e0 s\u2019accommoder au petit volant qui se situe assez bas, cons\u00e9quence in\u00e9vitable d\u2019avoir plac\u00e9 le cockpit virtuel au-dessus du volant (ce qui n\u2019est pas une nouveaut\u00e9 chez Peugeot). Ainsi, la 508 ne propose pas d\u2019affichage t\u00eate-haute. Plus g\u00eanant, la pr\u00e9sence du toit ouvrant (CHF 1’450.-) diminue une garde au toit d\u00e9j\u00e0 limit\u00e9e. Mesurant 195 cm, il m\u2019est difficile de trouver une position de conduite confortable, m\u00eame en inclinant davantage le dossier.
