Ext\u00e9rieurement, la 911 Turbo s\u2019affirme tout autant que sa grande s\u0153ur Turbo S. Si les jantes de 20 et 21 pouces de s\u00e9rie sont diff\u00e9rentes (il est possible de choisir celles de la Turbo S), les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de carrosserie sont identiques : boucliers, jupes lat\u00e9rales, prises d\u2019air, sans oublier les spoilers avant et arri\u00e8re motoris\u00e9s qui permettent, sur demande ou en fonction du mode de conduite, de procurer un appui a\u00e9rodynamique suppl\u00e9mentaire de 15% par rapport \u00e0 la Turbo S de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente.<\/p>\n

Et si vous d\u00e9sirez un caract\u00e8re encore plus affirm\u00e9 que celui de notre voiture d\u2019essai, Porsche propose en option un pack sport ext\u00e9rieur. Enfin, l’\u00e9chappement sport optionnel sera dot\u00e9 de deux sorties ovales de grand diam\u00e8tre en lieu et place des quatre sorties rectangulaires.<\/p>\n

L\u2019int\u00e9rieur b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie globalement d\u2019excellentes finitions et d\u2019une bonne ergonomie. On regrette juste que les deux \u00e9crans entourant le superbe compte-tours soient partiellement masqu\u00e9s par le volant, ou encore qu\u2019il soit impossible de zapper les stations radio favorites via la touche du volant, cette derni\u00e8re naviguant uniquement dans la liste enti\u00e8re. Plus g\u00eanant pour certains : le nouveau s\u00e9lecteur de mode de marche, beaucoup plus compact, ne permet plus de passer les rapports. Mais l\u2019essentiel est ailleurs : r\u00e9gl\u00e9 au plus bas, les si\u00e8ges sports Plus adaptatifs (CHF 1’230.-) offrent un maintien lat\u00e9ral r\u00e9glable et une position de conduite parfaite m\u00eame pour les grands gabarits. Me pencher l\u00e9g\u00e8rement sur la gauche me suffit pour toucher la route avec ma main ; on est assis encore plus bas que dans l\u2019Alpine A110 S<\/a> !<\/p>\n

M\u00eame sans l\u2019\u00e9chappement sport, la 911 Turbo propose une sonorit\u00e9 envo\u00fbtante qui se voit accentu\u00e9e dans les modes de conduite Sport et Sport Plus. Contrairement aux 992 Carrera et Carrera S o\u00f9 la suralimentation \u0153uvre discr\u00e8tement m\u00eame \u00e0 pleine charge, ici les deux turbos signalent leur pr\u00e9sence par un \u00ab ppcchhiiiiittt \u00bb caract\u00e9ristique. Il faut \u00e9galement composer avec un turbo lag marqu\u00e9 lors des franches relances ; la philosophie est bien celle d\u2019une Turbo. Heureusement, le timbre du flat6 est toujours l\u00e0. C\u2019est en conduite mod\u00e9r\u00e9e que l\u2019on en profite le plus, lorsque les turbos ne se font pas entendre. En mode Normal, la bo\u00eete PDK favorise une conduite sur le couple en exploitant parfaitement la souplesse du moteur, un r\u00e9gal !<\/p>\n

C\u2019est en Mode Sport Plus que j\u2019attaque la mont\u00e9e du Val d\u2019H\u00e9rens. Les premi\u00e8res \u00e9pingles \u00e0 large rayon sont aval\u00e9es sans le moindre roulis. Gr\u00e2ce au ch\u00e2ssis sport raffermi et abaiss\u00e9 de 10mm (CHF 1’810.-) ainsi qu\u2019au syst\u00e8me PDCC (CHF 3’910.-), notre Turbo Cabriolet d\u2019essai est dot\u00e9e du ch\u00e2ssis le plus affut\u00e9 possible. Le PDCC (pour Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control) est un syst\u00e8me d\u2019antiroulis actif qui, par le biais d\u2019actuateurs hydrauliques, r\u00e9duit les mouvements de caisse en virage sans p\u00e9jorer le confort comme le feraient des barres antiroulis plus grosses. Le r\u00e9sultat est impressionnant d\u2019efficacit\u00e9, la Turbo est litt\u00e9ralement riv\u00e9e au sol. Combin\u00e9 aux roues arri\u00e8re directrices, cet excellent ch\u00e2ssis rend cette 911 encore plus s\u00fbre : on ne sent quasiment jamais la pr\u00e9sence du moteur en porte-\u00e0-faux arri\u00e8re. Cela pourrait d\u2019ailleurs \u00eatre per\u00e7u comme un manque par certains inconditionnels de la 911 originelle.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s une portion plus roulante jusqu\u2019aux Haud\u00e8res, le dernier quart de l\u2019itin\u00e9raire menant au fond de la vall\u00e9e est particuli\u00e8rement bossel\u00e9. Mais une fois le spoiler avant repli\u00e9 (afin d\u2019\u00e9viter tout frottement) et la duret\u00e9 du ch\u00e2ssis PASM r\u00e9gl\u00e9e en mode Normal, la 911 Turbo s\u2019affranchit de la t\u00e2che avec brio. Certes, le touch\u00e9 de route reste ferme (merci au ch\u00e2ssis sport\u00a0!) et la prudence est de rigueur sur les grosses compressions. Mais parcourir cette route \u00e0 ce rythme avec une GT3 serait un massacre autant pour les lombaires que pour la lame du pare-chocs avant\u00a0!<\/p>\n

La concurrence n\u2019abonde pas dans ce segment, surtout si l\u2019on consid\u00e8re la pr\u00e9sence des quatre places et\/ou de la traction int\u00e9grale. La Jaguar F-Type R Cabriolet<\/a> de 575 ch (traction int\u00e9grale, 2 places) est un peu moins performante mais beaucoup moins ch\u00e8re (d\u00e8s CHF 147’900.-). Plut\u00f4t attir\u00e9 par les mod\u00e8les \u00e0 moteur atmosph\u00e9rique, je craignais de me retrouver au volant d\u2019une 911 Turbo surpuissante manquant d\u2019homog\u00e9n\u00e9it\u00e9. Bien mal m\u2019en a pris : le feeling de conduite est exceptionnel et la conduite \u00ab Turbo \u00bb peut aussi s\u2019av\u00e9rer addictive, notamment sur des petites routes sinueuses. Il s\u2019agit simplement d\u2019une philosophie diff\u00e9rente que Porsche ma\u00eetrise \u00e9galement \u00e0 la perfection, \u00e0 tel point qu\u2019il est bien difficile de lui trouver des d\u00e9fauts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La 911 Turbo est donc un choix judicieux pour celles et ceux qui recherchent une 911 toute aussi polyvalente et confortable qu\u2019une Carrera 4S, mais avec un look encore plus affirm\u00e9 et des performances sensiblement sup\u00e9rieures.<\/strong><\/p>\n
