Afin de parfaire cette exp\u00e9rience, nous avons sollicit\u00e9 la venue du pilote Jonathan Michellod<\/a>, champion suisse rallye junior 2019 ! Et comme Toyota Suisse nous a mis \u00e0 disposition une GR Yaris dot\u00e9e du Pack Premium, Yann, l\u2019ouvreur de Jonathan, nous a \u00e9galement rejoints avec sa GR Yaris dot\u00e9e du Pack Circuit. Cela va nous permettre de confronter les deux versions dans cet exercice.<\/p>\n

Jonathan prend d\u2019abord le volant de notre GR Yaris dot\u00e9e du Pack Premium<\/a> pour une s\u00e9ance de \u00ab donuts \u00bb autour du c\u00f4ne. Le mode de conduite Normal, privil\u00e9giant par d\u00e9faut le couple sur les roues avant (60\/40), s\u2019av\u00e8re peu adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019exercice. Il peut n\u00e9anmoins compter sur le frein \u00e0 main pour la prise d\u2019angle, mais l\u2019auto a ensuite une nette tendance au sous-virage. Le mode Track, distribuant par d\u00e9faut le couple de mani\u00e8re \u00e9gale entre les deux essieux, change clairement la donne : il parvient \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser des cercles en glisse sans se servir du frein \u00e0 main. En mode Sport, le couple sur les roues arri\u00e8re augmente et le diam\u00e8tre des cercles se r\u00e9duit l\u00e9g\u00e8rement.<\/p>\n

Jonathan saute ensuite dans la GR Yaris de Yann dot\u00e9e du Pack Circuit pour proc\u00e9der au m\u00eame exercice en appliquant la m\u00eame quantit\u00e9 de gaz. Si le comportement est similaire en mode Normal, la diff\u00e9rence est nette dans les modes Track et Sport.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Gr\u00e2ce aux diff\u00e9rentiels Torsen, la voiture tourne beaucoup plus facilement autour du c\u00f4ne et on la place o\u00f9 on veut. \u00bb<\/em> glisse le pilote valaisan. La diff\u00e9rence de comportement entre les modes Track et Sport est \u00e9galement plus marqu\u00e9e.
