Apr\u00e8s une exp\u00e9rience m\u00e9morable en 2019 au volant de l\u2019Alpine A110 Pure sur le circuit de Lurcy-L\u00e9vis<\/a>, nous avons pris le volant de l\u2019Alpine A110S<\/a> sur le circuit de l\u2019Anneau du Rhin. Une fois n\u2019est pas coutume, nous commen\u00e7ons par remercier chaleureusement notre partenaire, le Centre Alpine RRG Lausanne, pour l\u2019invitation \u00e0 cette sortie organis\u00e9e le 22 octobre dernier par La Piste Bleue. Alors, quelles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 nos impressions au volant de l\u2019A110S, par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019A110 Pure que nous avons aussi pu essayer durant cette journ\u00e9e ? R\u00e9ponse\u00a0!<\/p>\n

Le programme \u00ab\u00a0La Piste Bleue\u00a0\u00bb propose, \u00e9t\u00e9 comme hiver, des exp\u00e9riences destin\u00e9es aux propri\u00e9taires d\u2019Alpine ainsi qu\u2019aux prospects. Chapeaut\u00e9s par la marque Alpine elle-m\u00eame, ces \u00e9v\u00e9nements sont organis\u00e9s par l\u2019agence Driving Evolution. On parle d\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement, car il ne s\u2019agit pas simplement de se rendre au circuit avec son Alpine et d\u2019y encha\u00eener les tours. Ici, on vous propose une exp\u00e9rience bien plus compl\u00e8te afin que les participants ne s\u2019ennuient pas lorsqu\u2019ils ne sont pas en piste.<\/p>\n

Les deux autres groupes ayant termin\u00e9, il est temps pour nous de prendre la piste et d\u2019entrer dans le vif du sujet. La prudence est de mise, la piste \u00e9tant encore mouill\u00e9e par endroit \u00e0 cause des brumes automnales. Dans ce contexte, je retrouve les sensations rencontr\u00e9es \u00e0 Lurcy-L\u00e9vis sous la pluie au volant de l\u2019A110 Pure\u00a0; l\u2019A110S demande tout autant d\u2019attention de par sa conception et son \u00e9quilibre in\u00e9gal (44% du poids sur le train avant). Aux limites, elle passe r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement du sous au survirage, obligeant \u00e0 baisser le rythme pour rester propre.<\/p>\n

La r\u00e9v\u00e9lation viendra durant la premi\u00e8re session de l\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi. Apr\u00e8s un buffet des plus copieux, je m\u2019\u00e9lance seul, d\u00e9lest\u00e9 des 100 kg de mon coll\u00e8gue S\u00e9bastien. Le ventre bien rempli, ce dernier pr\u00e9f\u00e8re me photographier depuis le paddock. \u00c7a tombe bien, je vais pouvoir essayer de claquer un temps ! La majorit\u00e9 du plateau \u00e9tant constitu\u00e9e d\u2019A110, la diff\u00e9rence saute aux yeux : moins rapides en virage, les A110 prennent bien davantage de roulis et s\u2019\u00e9crasent plus sur l\u2019avant lors des freinages.<\/p>\n

Sans \u00eatre aussi radicale qu\u2019une Lotus, l\u2019A110S est ind\u00e9niablement plus rigoureuse et plus efficace. M\u00eame si l\u2019exercice est toujours possible, elle s\u2019adonne moins facilement \u00e0 la glisse que l\u2019A110<\/a>. Cela est aussi d\u00fb au grip sup\u00e9rieur procur\u00e9 par les Michelin Pilot Sport 4 qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9s pour l\u2019A110S. En plus d\u2019avoir un tressage des nappes de travail favorisant les performances, ceux-ci sont \u00e9galement plus larges, passant de 205 \u00e0 215 mm \u00e0 l\u2019avant et 235 \u00e0 245 mm \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re. Le marquage DT1 identifie les pneus d\u00e9di\u00e9s \u00e0 chacune de ces deux versions (monte d\u2019origine).<\/p>\n

Les 40 chevaux suppl\u00e9mentaires de l\u2019A110S<\/a> (292 ch contre 252 ch) sont quant \u00e0 eux peu perceptibles. Et pour cause, le couple maximum est toujours de 320 Nm, alors que les pneus plus larges engendrent une petite perte au niveau des frottements. Sans ce surplus de puissance, l\u2019A110S aurait donc \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u00e9g\u00e8rement p\u00e9nalis\u00e9e en relances. En pratique, je parviens juste \u00e0 doubler une A110<\/a> sur la ligne droite d\u2019un kilom\u00e8tre, \u00e0 condition que cette derni\u00e8re se situe dans mon pare-chocs \u00e0 la sortie du virage ! Finalement, tant S\u00e9bastien que moi-m\u00eame r\u00e9aliserons nos meilleurs tours dans le m\u00eame dixi\u00e8me de seconde, en 1:44.9, avec une vitesse de pointe oscillant entre 225 et 230 km\/h.<\/p>\n

En plus de la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019instructeurs nous permettant de parfaire notre pilotage, il nous sera propos\u00e9 d\u2019effectuer quelques sessions au volant d\u2019une A110. La diff\u00e9rence est impressionnante dans les virages, o\u00f9 face \u00e0 l\u2019A110S, l\u2019A110 donne l\u2019impression d\u2019\u00eatre un bateau ! Toutefois, comme je l\u2019avais relev\u00e9 \u00e0 Lurcy-L\u00e9vis, le plaisir est toujours pr\u00e9sent tant l\u2019auto se veut communicative. Une fois la voiture bien cal\u00e9e sur son appui, elle ne souffre pas de mouvements parasites. C\u00f4t\u00e9 bo\u00eete de vitesses et freinage, les deux mod\u00e8les font jeu \u00e9gal, le mod\u00e8le Pure essay\u00e9 \u00e9tant dot\u00e9 des disques optionnels de 320 mm (identiques \u00e0 ceux se trouvant sur l\u2019A110S). Les freins n\u2019ont pas montr\u00e9 de perte d\u2019efficacit\u00e9, mais les sessions \u00e9taient courtes et le circuit rapide. Le trafic n\u2019a pas permis d\u2019\u00e9tablir un chrono comparatif entre l\u2019A110 Pure et l\u2019A110S.
