Quarante ans ! Quarante ans d\u00e9j\u00e0 que l\u2019Audi Quattro, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e en premi\u00e8re mondiale au Salon de Gen\u00e8ve de 1980, a radicalement chang\u00e9 non seulement l\u2019image d\u2019Audi mais \u00e9galement celle du championnat du monde des rallyes. Afin de f\u00eater dignement cet anniversaire, les responsables de la firme aux quatre anneaux ont r\u00e9cemment r\u00e9uni en Suisse centrale ses anciens pilotes d\u2019usine Harald Demuth et Marco Werner ainsi qu\u2019une vingtaine d\u2019Audi Quattro construites de 1980 \u00e0 1986. conduire depuis Schattdorf, dans le canton d\u2019Uri, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Lucerne, \u00e9tait la r\u00e9plique de l\u2019Audi Quattro avec laquelle la pilote fran\u00e7aise avait remport\u00e9 le Rallye de San Remo de 1981, une \u00ab Victoire historique \u00bb et \u00ab Une premi\u00e8re f\u00e9minine \u00bb avait titr\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque le quotidien romand \u00ab Tribune Le Matin \u00bb. Gerd Neumann, le propri\u00e9taire de cette Quattro, a fait en sorte que sa voiture ressemble le plus possible \u00e0 celle de Mich\u00e8le Mouton. Une attention particuli\u00e8re a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 accord\u00e9e \u00e0 la pr\u00e9paration du moteur. Celui-ci ne d\u00e9veloppe pas 200ch, comme celui de s\u00e9rie, mais bien 280 ch, une puissance proche des 300 ch dont disposait Hannu Mikkola lors des d\u00e9buts de la Quattro en championnat du monde au Rallye Monte-Carlo de 1981. Des d\u00e9buts fracassants !<\/p>\n Au terme de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape, copieusement enneig\u00e9e et convenant par cons\u00e9quent parfaitement aux quatre roues motrices de son Audi, Hannu Mikkola comptait d\u00e9j\u00e0 5\u201954\u2019\u2019 d\u2019avance sur la Porsche 911 de Jean-Luc Th\u00e9rier.
