Apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9tabli l\u2019an pass\u00e9 un nouveau record de vitesse avec la Chiron Super Sport 300+, une \u00e9dition limit\u00e9e \u00e0 30 exemplaires qui a enregistr\u00e9 une vitesse de pointe de 490,484 km\/h, soit plus de 300 miles par heure (d\u2019o\u00f9 son nom 300+), Bugatti propose d\u00e9sormais la Chiron Pur Sport, une version r\u00e9serv\u00e9e \u00e0 60 exemplaires qui est avant tout ax\u00e9e sur l\u2019agilit\u00e9. Sport-Auto.ch a \u00e9t\u00e9 convi\u00e9 \u00e0 la d\u00e9couvrir chez Bugatti Gen\u00e8ve.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La Chiron Pur Sport aurait d\u00fb \u00eatre d\u00e9voil\u00e9e en premi\u00e8re mondiale lors du Salon de Gen\u00e8ve en mars dernier. Celui-ci ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 annul\u00e9<\/a> en raison des mesures prises par la Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration afin de lutter contre la propagation du coronavirus, Bugatti l\u2019a successivement pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e dans diff\u00e9rentes villes europ\u00e9ennes dont notamment Paris, Londres et justement Gen\u00e8ve !<\/p>\n

Il est tr\u00e8s exactement 10h35 lorsque Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Manfrini et Olivier Evain, respectivement directeur de Bugatti Gen\u00e8ve et directeur marketing, retirent l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9gante housse noire qui recouvrait jusqu\u2019ici la nouvelle Chiron Pur Sport.<\/p>\n

Celle-ci attire d\u00e9sormais toute la lumi\u00e8re des projecteurs et les flashes des photographes cr\u00e9pitent dans le showroom de Bugatti Gen\u00e8ve inaugur\u00e9 il y a trois ans.<\/a><\/p>\n

Par rapport \u00e0 la Chiron \u00ab normale \u00bb, si tant est qu\u2019une Bugatti puisse \u00eatre qualifi\u00e9e ainsi, la Chiron Pur Sport p\u00e8se 50kg de moins. Cela ne constitue pas une diminution de poids exceptionnelle pour une voiture affichant un peu plus de 1\u2019900 kg sur la balance mais elle m\u00e9rite tout de m\u00eame d\u2019\u00eatre relev\u00e9e. Il en va de m\u00eame pour ses diff\u00e9rents raffinements a\u00e9rodynamiques, \u00e0 commencer par un immense aileron arri\u00e8re de 1,90 m. Cet aileron \u00e9tant d\u00e9sormais fixe et non plus amovible comme cela est le cas sur la Chiron \u00ab normale \u00bb, quelques pr\u00e9cieux kilos ont pu \u00eatre gagn\u00e9s en supprimant les composants hydrauliques qui permettaient son d\u00e9ploiement automatique. L\u2019imposant aileron fixe, de m\u00eame que les nouveaux pneus haute performance Sport Cup 2 R de Michelin, des 285\/30 R20 \u00e0 l\u2019avant et des 355\/25 R21 \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re, assurent une adh\u00e9rence extr\u00eame. \u00ab Cela m\u00eame \u00e0 une vitesse tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9e dans les courbes \u00bb, nous assure Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Manfrini (ci-dessous au volant de l’hypercar fran\u00e7aise).<\/p>\n

Mais \u00e0 qui donc s\u2019adresse la Chiron Pur Sport ? \u00ab A des clients qui sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 propri\u00e9taires d\u2019une Veyron ou d\u2019une Chiron mais \u00e9galement \u00e0 des clients qui n\u2019ont pas encore de Bugatti. Ils poss\u00e8dent en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral d\u00e9j\u00e0 plusieurs supercars et d\u00e9sirent une voiture qui soit plus facilement utilisable au quotidien que par exemple une Porsche 918 Spyder ou une Ferrari LaFerrari\u00a0\u00bb, r\u00e9pond Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Manfrini qui sait de quoi il parle. La Porsche 918 Spyder que nous avons vue dans les locaux du Groupe Chevalley \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de Bugatti Gen\u00e8ve appartient en effet \u00e0 un client Bugatti ! Et la concession genevoise de la marque ch\u00e8re \u00e0 Ettore Bugatti compte parmi ses clients plusieurs collectionneurs de Bugatti. Nous y avons d\u2019ailleurs vu une tr\u00e8s rare Bugatti EB 112 \u00e0 quatre portes de 1993. \u00ab Il n\u2019existe que trois exemplaires de ce prototype et celui que vous avez vu chez nous est le seul \u00e0 b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019une immatriculation\u00a0\u00bb, rel\u00e8ve Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Manfrini.<\/p>\n

Pour en revenir \u00e0 la Chiron Pur Sport, on rel\u00e8vera que celle qui nous a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve disposait de nouvelles jantes en magn\u00e9sium, plus l\u00e9g\u00e8res de quatre kilos. Ces jantes se distinguent par la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019ailettes a\u00e9rodynamiques du plus bel effet. Il s\u2019agit cependant d\u2019une option factur\u00e9e \u00e0 quelque 50’000 euros. La Pur Sport se diff\u00e9rencie des autres Chiron \u00e9galement par ses lignes. A l\u2019avant, les entr\u00e9es d\u2019air sont plus importantes et le spoiler plus long. La Chiron Pur Sport propose par ailleurs une nouvelle peinture en option avec la partie inf\u00e9rieure de la carrosserie rev\u00eatue de carbone. A l\u2019arri\u00e8re, en plus de l\u2019aileron fixe d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9voqu\u00e9, le diffuseur est de plus grande dimension.<\/p>\n

Un des plus grands changements de la Chiron Pur Sport r\u00e9side cependant dans son ch\u00e2ssis. On note ainsi un carrossage n\u00e9gatif de 2,5 degr\u00e9s pour une nette augmentation de la performance. Afin d\u2019int\u00e9grer les r\u00e9glages n\u00e9gatifs du carrossage, les ing\u00e9nieurs de Bugatti ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 de nouvelles rotules de suspension. Quant au nouveau mode de conduite ESC Sport+, il permettrait \u00ab\u00a0de d\u00e9passer les attentes des conducteurs les plus chevronn\u00e9s \u00bb, selon Jachin Schwalbe, en charge du d\u00e9veloppement de la Pur Sport. Ce mode autorise par exemple un angle de d\u00e9rive beaucoup plus important que sur la Chiron.<\/p>\n
