En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, il ne m\u2019a fallu que quelques virages pour r\u00e9aliser que les ing\u00e9nieurs d\u2019Alpina sont des magiciens. Avec une telle masse, entrer sur les freins se traduit souvent par un sous-virage marqu\u00e9. Mais avec la B5, \u00e7a passe, et m\u00eame plut\u00f4t bien ! Raffermie, la B5 prend tr\u00e8s peu de roulis, sans devenir pour autant un bout de bois. Le travail d\u2019Alpina sur les suspensions actives est vraiment impressionnant. Le lendemain, le parcours du val d\u2019Herrens jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Arolla aura soulign\u00e9 la facilit\u00e9 avec laquelle la B5 se joue des irr\u00e9gularit\u00e9s des portions tr\u00e8s montagneuses. diff\u00e9rentiel arri\u00e8re se chargeant rapidement d\u2019assurer la motricit\u00e9 maximale. Petite d\u00e9ception, contrairement \u00e0 la BMW M5, le mode 100% propulsion n\u2019est pas de la partie. Il ne correspondrait sans doute pas \u00e0 la philosophie recherch\u00e9e par Alpina. L\u2019Alpina B5 fait par contre appel \u00e0 des roues arri\u00e8re directrices (max. 2,5 degr\u00e9s), syst\u00e8me dont l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 n\u2019est plus \u00e0 prouver m\u00eame si son action est imperceptible dans la B5.
