Et pour cause, il s\u2019agissait de l\u2019exemplaire ayant servi \u00e0 tourner la mythique sc\u00e8ne de course-poursuite avec Steve McQueen en personne au volant<\/a> ! L\u2019histoire raconte que l\u2019acteur aurait cherch\u00e9 en vain \u00e0 racheter plusieurs fois cette Mustang au propri\u00e9taire qui avait pu l\u2019acqu\u00e9rir pour seulement 3’500 dollars en 1974.<\/p>\n Celle qui nous int\u00e9resse aujourd\u2019hui fait \u00e9cho \u00e0 ce c\u00e9l\u00e8bre film qui a sans doute contribu\u00e9 au succ\u00e8s de la Mustang. La teinte Dark Highland Green est fid\u00e8le au mod\u00e8le d\u2019origine, tandis que les jantes 21 pouces noires \u00e0 5 branches et contour poli s\u2019en inspirent. Comme dans le film, la calandre est vid\u00e9e de son cheval Mustang, lui rendant un air plus m\u00e9chant. j\u2019avais \u00e9t\u00e9 emball\u00e9 par la Mustang GT MY2018<\/a>, laquelle se pr\u00e9sentait comme une mise \u00e0 jour bienvenue de cette 6\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration dont nous avions essay\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re mouture en 2017<\/a>. Le nouveau ch\u00e2ssis pilot\u00e9 MagneRide (CHF 2’000.-), le nouvel \u00e9chappement bien plus d\u00e9monstratif et les si\u00e8ges Recaro m\u2019avaient montr\u00e9 la Ford Mustang sous son meilleur jour. J\u2019avais toutefois \u00e9mis une r\u00e9serve concernant la bo\u00eete automatique \u00e0 10 rapports en option, pas encore suffisamment sportive pour une voiture de cette trempe. Une question qui ne se reposera pas aujourd\u2019hui, puisque la BULLITT n\u2019est propos\u00e9e qu\u2019avec la bo\u00eete manuelle \u00e0 6 rapports dont le pommeau est en forme de boule de billard. Et surprise, en comparant avec le moteur de la GT, on constate qu\u2019il n\u2019est plus encapsul\u00e9 sur la BULLITT ! Le surplus de puissance a \u00e9t\u00e9 obtenu par le biais d\u2019une nouvelle admission constitu\u00e9e d\u2019un filtre \u00e0 air conique bien visible. Si le couple est inchang\u00e9 (529Nm), la consommation est annonc\u00e9e en l\u00e9g\u00e8re baisse et passe de 12.1 l\/100km \u00e0 11.8 l\/100km. En pratique, comptez plut\u00f4t entre 13 et 14 l\/100km de moyenne, \u00e0 moins d\u2019\u00eatre tr\u00e8s calme et d\u2019\u00e9viter la ville, auquel cas il est possible de tutoyer les 10 l\/100km. L’absence de pneus \u00e9t\u00e9 ainsi que des si\u00e8ges Recaro plus fermes permettant de mieux sentir l\u2019auto justifient sans doute ce petit manque. La GT m\u2019avait aussi plus impressionn\u00e9 au niveau des reprises. La fiche technique le confirme ; alors que la BULLITT effectue le 0-100 km\/h en 4,6 secondes, la GT<\/a> n\u2019en demande que 4,3 lorsqu\u2019elle est \u00e9quip\u00e9e de la bo\u00eete automatique !
