La Focus ST que nous avions essay\u00e9e en 2016<\/a> disposait d’ailleurs d\u2019un moteur diesel de 185 ch coupl\u00e9 \u00e0 une bo\u00eete automatique. En raison d’une demande insuffisante dans notre pays, la bo\u00eete automatique n\u2019est par contre pas disponible en Suisse sur la nouvelle Focus ST. Et celle-ci \u00e9tait d\u2019autant plus sportive qu\u2019elle \u00e9tait \u00e9quip\u00e9e du Pack Performance, une option factur\u00e9e CHF 1’300.- qui s\u2019ajoute au prix de base de CHF 44’700.- pour cette version essence. La version diesel, dot\u00e9e d\u2019un 2.0L de 190 ch (soit 90ch de moins que notre version essence), est affich\u00e9e quant \u00e0 elle \u00e0 CHF 42’200.-. Les versions break r\u00e9clament CHF 2’000.- suppl\u00e9mentaires, mais le prix du Pack Performance tombe alors \u00e0 CHF 400.-. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son pilotage \u00e9lectronique, le diff\u00e9rentiel autobloquant r\u00e9agit en effet de fa\u00e7on pr\u00e9dictive aux changements d\u2019adh\u00e9rence et ex\u00e9cute les ordres de braquage donn\u00e9s par le conducteur de fa\u00e7on rapide et incisive. Au point d\u2019\u00eatre sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 un diff\u00e9rentiel m\u00e9canique\u00a0? Cela se ressent au volant gr\u00e2ce au moteur 4 cylindres 2,3L tr\u00e8s r\u00e9actif qui fournit un excellent agr\u00e9ment de conduite. Son couple maximal de 420 Nm est disponible de 3’000 \u00e0 4\u2019000 trs\/min et nul doute qu\u2019en dehors de cette plage, le couple qu\u2019il fournit est d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9lev\u00e9. Cet agr\u00e9ment est par ailleurs sublim\u00e9 dans les modes Sport et Race Track par une musicalit\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement r\u00e9ussie.
