Chose unique\u00a0: il est possible d\u2019aller construire son eRod \u00e0 l\u2019usine, sur une p\u00e9riode d\u2019une semaine. Un ing\u00e9nieur vous assistera et validera chacune de vos actions. Les normes d\u2019homologation ne permettent en effet plus l\u2019envoi du kit \u00e0 votre domicile.<\/p>\n

Les jantes en alu sont en 15 pouces, et re\u00e7oivent des Pirelli Cinturato en 195\/50R15, dimension couramment utilis\u00e9e dans les ann\u00e9es 90 devenue rare de nos jours. Des semi-slick Toyo R888 sont disponibles en option (CHF 755.-). Bien que notre mod\u00e8le d\u2019essai en soit \u00e9quip\u00e9, le Kyburz eRod peut \u00eatre conduit sans pare-boue (CHF 1’600.-) ni panneaux lat\u00e9raux (CHF 499.-). En guise de coffre, une valise plastique Pelican est maintenue sur la partie arri\u00e8re par des sangles. Il faut appuyer fort sur la p\u00e9dale, mais cela nous permet de mieux doser le freinage pour \u00e9viter de bloquer les roues. En effet, l\u2019ABS, tout comme l\u2019ESP ne sont pas au programme. Sans attendre, je me dirige vers la montagne pour parcourir une route sinueuse, o\u00f9 l\u2019eRod devrait exceller. L\u2019absence de montant de pare-brise est un vrai plus sur ces routes. Un voyant s\u2019allume alors sur l\u2019ordinateur de bord, et la puissance est fortement r\u00e9duite afin de permettre le refroidissement de la m\u00e9canique.
