Depuis le d\u00e9but de sa carri\u00e8re, elle s\u2019est \u00e9galement illustr\u00e9e de nombreuses fois en championnat du monde des rallyes ainsi que dans les cat\u00e9gories S2000 et RRC. Les attributs sportifs sont nombreux mais ne jouent pas dans la protub\u00e9rance. Bien qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse ici d\u2019une version ST+, dot\u00e9e de belles jantes 18\u2019 (17\u2019 sur la ST), je la trouve un peu trop timide et haute sur pattes. Ce dernier est r\u00e9actif et la navigation entre les menus est intuitive. Toutefois, malgr\u00e9 une puissance identique, elle ne demande que 6,5 secondes pour passer de 0 \u00e0 100 km\/h. La <a href=\"https:\/\/sport-auto.ch\/essais\/post\/ford-fiesta-st200\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ST200<\/a> demandait 2 dixi\u00e8mes de plus sur cet exercice, alors m\u00eame qu\u2019elle \u00e9tait \u00e9quip\u00e9e d\u2019un \u00e9tagement de bo\u00eete similaire (rupteur vers 85 km\/h sur le 2\u00e8me rapport).<\/p>\n<p>En pratique, je dois avouer ne pas ressentir ces kilos suppl\u00e9mentaires. J\u2019ai toujours l\u2019impression d\u2019avoir entre les mains une auto qui frise la tonne, et encha\u00eener les virages de tous genres devient vite addictif tant l\u2019auto est communicative sur ses r\u00e9actions. Le moindre mouvement de volant n\u00e9cessite alors doigt\u00e9, et malgr\u00e9 sa puissance contenue, la Fiesta ST n\u2019est pas si facile \u00e0 piloter aux limites. Avec son empattement court, sa largeur modeste (1,73 m hors r\u00e9troviseurs) et sa direction directe, la Fiesta ST est tr\u00e8s incisive et peut pi\u00e9ger le d\u00e9butant, en particulier sur chauss\u00e9e humide. Ses supensions fermes n&#8217;engendrent quasiment pas de roulis et \u00e0 la mont\u00e9e, les \u00e9pingles se passent tant\u00f4t sur 3 roues !
