\nDe premier abord, la Lexus LC 500 ne ressemble \u00e0 rien d\u2019autre sur le march\u00e9 actuellement. Nous sommes donc bien en pr\u00e9sence d\u2019une exclusivit\u00e9 automobile au design massif mais \u00e9pur\u00e9. Sorti l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, le nouveau coup\u00e9 sportif de luxe de la marque japonaise reprend trait pour trait le concept-car Lexus LF-LC pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 au salon de D\u00e9troit en 2012. Ce nouveau coup\u00e9 LC se mue de lignes directrices fluides et tendues, en imposant une face avant profil\u00e9e, caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par une calandre invers\u00e9e style Lexus, pour garder les g\u00eanes de la marque, et d\u2019une partie arri\u00e8re pure, au galbe captivant, prononc\u00e9 par des jupes creus\u00e9es aux coups de crayons ambitieux. Le coup\u00e9 japonais affirme haut et fort son caract\u00e8re bien tremp\u00e9.<\/p>\n

\nLe point fort de cette version LC 500 est sans appel sa motorisation. Enonc\u00e9 plus t\u00f4t dans l\u2019article, le V8 5.0L atmosph\u00e9rique constitue un atout charme majeur pour ce coup\u00e9. D\u00e9marrant dans un r\u00e2lement du diable, les premi\u00e8res vocalise de la b\u00eate semblent tr\u00e8s anglaises, et le V8 sonne bien d\u00e8s les premiers kilom\u00e8tres. La japonaise est imposante une fois \u00e0 son bord et il faudra faire gaffe \u00e0 son gabarit cons\u00e9quent qui limitera quelque peu les man\u0153uvres pour se garer.<\/p>\n

Bien amorti, le coup\u00e9 est docile et agr\u00e9able en mode normal, avec une bo\u00eete qui r\u00e9agit bien aux diff\u00e9rents al\u00e9as du trafic. Il est quasiment inutile de mettre cette derni\u00e8re en mode eco tant la diff\u00e9rence est minime et la consommation de ce vaisseau spatial est gargantuesque. Ne comptez pas moins de 15 l\/100km en conduite mixte et esp\u00e9rez un petit 12,5 l\/100km sur autoroute, une fois le 10\u00e8me rapport de la nouvelle bo\u00eete de vitesse automatique \u00ab Direct Shift \u00bb enclench\u00e9. Cette derni\u00e8re dispose d’un nouveau convertisseur de couple et un \u00e9tagement resserr\u00e9 des premiers rapports.<\/p>\n

Le GPS souffre \u00e9galement de quelques lacunes : impossible de taper ou d\u2019\u00e9crire sur le pav\u00e9 les lettres voulues, ces derni\u00e8res sont \u00e0 cliquer l\u2019une apr\u00e8s l\u2019autre, et il faudra s\u2019armer de patience jusqu’\u00e0 entrer une adresse compl\u00e8te avec num\u00e9ro, rue et ville, sans quoi ce dernier refusera de fonctionner. Si cela vous agace, il y a bien \u00e9videmment la commande vocale qui sera l\u00e0 pour vous \u00e9pauler ainsi que l\u2019excellent syst\u00e8me audio Mark Levinson Reference qui saura vous d\u00e9tendre, au gr\u00e8s de vos musique pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9es si le son du fauve commence \u00e0 vous d\u00e9plaire. \nFini la rigolade, mode Sport + enclench\u00e9, passage des rapports avec les palettes au volant en magn\u00e9sium, je me lance \u00e0 l\u2019assaut de quelques cols. La LC 500 se virilise dans ce mode et semble bien r\u00e9agir \u00e0 mes demandes, la direction est assez pr\u00e9cise m\u00eame si parfois il faut lutter pour pouvoir bien placer les presque deux tonnes de la sportive. Cette derni\u00e8re est aid\u00e9e par le syst\u00e8me de direction \u00e0 d\u00e9multiplication variable VGRS, comprenez une direction \u00e9lectrique, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 des roues arri\u00e8res directrices, qui constituent l’une des particularit\u00e9s de cette version Sport+. Les mont\u00e9es de r\u00e9gimes sont r\u00e9ellement grisantes et se font dans un odieux vacarme, j\u2019adore\u00a0! Malgr\u00e9 son exc\u00e8s pond\u00e9ral et le fait que son c\u0153ur soit d\u00e9nu\u00e9 de toute suralimentation, la LC 500 n\u2019a pas de mal \u00e0 se relancer en sortie de courbes, mais cette transmission automatique peut s’av\u00e9rer frustrante car elle ne se montre tr\u00e8s rapide que lors des changements de rapports \u00e0 hauts r\u00e9gimes et \u00e0 pleine charge.<\/p>\n

De plus, la LC500 affiche une tendance sous-vireuse lorsque qu\u2019on arrive sur les freins en entr\u00e9e de virage, heureusement l\u2019ABS est souvent la (m\u00eame parfois trop pr\u00e9sent) pour nous corriger. Mettez tout de m\u00eame ces quelques contrari\u00e9t\u00e9s de c\u00f4t\u00e9 et le coup\u00e9 de luxe saura distiller de bonnes sensations \u00e0 son volant. Une fois l\u2019ESP d\u00e9connect\u00e9 via un sous-menu enfoui dans la configuration, le train arri\u00e8re est totalement lib\u00e9r\u00e9 et les sensations n\u2019en seront que d\u00e9cupl\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

\nAffich\u00e9e \u00e0 un prix de base de CHF 132’400.-, la Lexus LC 500 veut s\u2019accaparer tous les superlatifs. Design unique, qualit\u00e9 irr\u00e9prochable, le coup\u00e9 nippon nous transporte dans un confort sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent et un luxe certain. L\u2019auto p\u00e2lit\u00a0de quelques d\u00e9ficiences malgr\u00e9 un V8 atmosph\u00e9rique souple et nerveux. Les sensations \u00e0 son bord sont certaines, mais il faut garder \u00e0 l’esprit que la LC 500 n’est pas non plus la reine des chronos. Mais ce n\u2019est pas grave, car ce n\u2019est clairement pas la philosophie propre \u00e0 ce coup\u00e9, qui se veut \u00eatre le plaisir de conduite dans un raffinement de premier ordre.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
