Pourtant, j\u2019ai rapidement des doutes quant \u00e0 cette transmission, qui n\u2019est visiblement pas de la m\u00eame trempe que sur les v\u00e9hicules du constructeur transalpin. Le train avant est pr\u00e9cis et mordant, alors que l\u2019arri\u00e8re accepte d\u2019enrouler l\u00e9g\u00e8rement en inscrivant l\u2019auto sur les freins. Toute aide d\u00e9sactiv\u00e9e, la relance \u00e0 fond sur les 4 roues motrices pourra engendrer un subtil d\u00e9hanchement, mais il manque une bonne poign\u00e9e de chevaux suppl\u00e9mentaires pour le rendre plus joueur et mettre \u00e0 mal sa motricit\u00e9. Le E-Pace ne dispose pas des vitesses lentes ni de blocage de diff\u00e9rentiel, mais son premier rapport \u00e9tant assez court, ce genre de pente peut \u00eatre gravie sans probl\u00e8me, en tous cas sur le sec.
